Trouble Hooking/Shadowing RenderSelectParams.lua in Demigod Modding Demigod Forums

I'm trying to hook/shadow dgdata.zip\lua\RenderSelectParam.lua, but to no avail. For some reason this file in particular doesn't seem to hook or shadow using the normal modding approach, i.e., via \bindata\mods\ \hook\lua\RenderSelectParam.lua or \bindata\mods\ \shadow\lua\RenderSelectParam.lua. Yes, your approach also works. However, the mod approach as I have posted will also work for online play and not just single player.
