i just went under beta and picked vip, its defaulted to the none one which is 111mb, seemed to work after i changed it, maybe restart steam after you pick it?

after the expansion i'm hoping it will add more depth to the game, i would prefer a third race for this tournament idea of yours, even though players probably will play 1 faction a lot less but it provides options..but since it cant wait..im thinking maybe have a limited edition ? say ok you give steam keys to existing players then the tournament idea would only go on for maybe 2 months? then just take it down and make these keys invalid..off course advertise you will do this..this way pe

curious to know what stardock will do about this, ashes doesn't have the most live mp as it is..and for cheaters to pop up..that's just going to sway more people.

i would be content with the same engine in a 64 bit engine..but they have a winner..why not go the extra mile..i mean the formula for the game is awesome..so they shouldnt f with it..just add more stuff, maybe the race hunting the vasari..on the oxide engine.

weird, i havent had this issue, all the dlc just downloads on release day for me.

i do hope they nail the campaign first time around..not that i care much for it but a lot of time have been spend reworking the first one..so hopefully this wont happen on episode 2 so more time is freed up after more other stuff.

@bad voltage..the game is complete..just because your opinion warrants more content..it doesn't make it incomplete...i believe it has been stated even the campaign was an after thought...games have done well without a campaign anyways...and if you have followed this game or even know stardocks business model...them adding a third race..naval and other stuff...doesn't make the game "complete" just expanding it even more...i personally think ashes is ok..but with the support it will get

have you seen sins of a solar empire??? never had a campaign ..and we dont know the whole story..and it has done great for irself....ashes will improve over time...people who want a clone of another game and only play 20 minutes..give negative reviews...there are some negative ones that make valid points...but the vast majority is just that....i have also found negative reviews where people cant play the game and call it not optimized but then later getting them to reveal their specs..they ha

at higher levels it does cheat i believe..and the whole praise of the ai is that majority of people cant beat the normal ai..and they are only improving the ai so...theres the praise.
