i didn't think he threw a vague insult ..first comment was about having more Intel.... whats so wrong with that? and i dont think engineer is putting down ideas of people who are not rts experienced players.. there is casual players who knows about strategy..then players who go the extra mile..play mostly rts so they see how different games and flaws...and the devs have already stated they want input from rts veterans.. their words not the engineers or anyone else.. so when someone

you need to increase your fleet size.. having your factories queued helps a lot..actually makes a difference..because when i started..i had a hard time..and i looked at my fleet capacity.it would be like 50 since i was manually building ships..now they pump out auto ..the ones i want..also build more frigate factories like on front lines..don't rely on 1-2.. the ai knows where to hit you..because they do scout..have ships to increase range.because if its an open view map..where you can se

ASADDF last image is what i was talking about in a different post but regarding the space bar..have the empire tree display to help us with information... not sure how well this will work in zoomed out..but as long as you highlight the heat parts to show info..would be good..giving us different tools :D

i know awhile back they were talking about bringing it back..but like 200 yrs from TNG or something like that..and the federation is weak..not much influence..and if i remember.. like in a state of chaos don't remember if it was from civil war or an actual war that ended..something like that catches my eye..because the federation has always been a galaxy power..with a lot of pull.. seeing it in a different state would be welcoming.

its because people are used to a certain way..even me..zooming all the way out and in..annoys me a bit sometimes in ashes..still need to get used to the space bar..as of now..i rarely use it.i rely on the bottom left mini map and move the cursor there. i am curious to see how the finished product will be..and what other tools will be implemented..because future maps will be way bigger than this right? and with more units..if i remember correctly like 10 times more and even more than that? the

in this game and the scale they are going for..all thou at this point it doesn't seem grand scale yet but i think it will be more massive...so you cant avoid fighting..it will happen lol unless you want a game with point a and point b..and both points just turtles with defend for hours until ready to attack? how boring... how you engage those points will make a difference..exploiting weaknesses ..and the whole game of guacamole.. even in real life wars..one country captures a city..

you build quantum labs..they generate quantum points on top right..you can see how much you have..when you click your engineer..one of its option..on the second column i believe..there's the research option..you click it..and from there you can up fleet supply, metal and storage..also weapons, hull and radar upgrades..and they cost quantum points.
