... there are many different opinions about how you should set your virtual memory settings, but here is what i do: if you have two harddrives, or two partitions, first disable the virtual paging file on your primary harddrive (the one containing ur os) then, create a new paging file on the harddrive/partition that DOES NOT contain your windows installation. for the size settings, i usually set the minimum to be around 1.5 times the amount of ram I have, so in your cas

umm... im not sure what you mean, perhaps you can be a bit more specific and maybe give some screenshot links? if by xp progress-bar chunks you mean to have it look like its in segments, all you have to do is create one segment, add a strip of magic pink to one side however wide you want the space between segments to be, and then set the sizing margins to 0 on left and right, then use tile as the sizing setting. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=full&

and if bootxp is having issues, try downloading a different version, a lot of people report success with one of the earlier versions, i think it was 0.65 or something..., there was a thread here a while ago.

I just did a clean install of windowsxp, with sp2 slipstreamed. wmp 9 comes standard with sp2, and it is instlaled on my computer fine, i can run it without any problems. after installing thememanager and trying to install suites though, i keep on getting a message saying windows media player is not detected on your system, do you want to download it... etc. I've tried downloading the installer and installing again, but it is still saying that i do not have wmp installed. If you are only editing the skin for personal use, you don't need permission for that... if you want to release it on a website though, try clicking on his name and see if there is a different e-mail address under his info.

perhaps the spyware just decided to associate itself with stardock, i've never had spyware problems with anything from stardock, i advise you to let the proggy delete it but make a backup in case your sd apps are broken also, perhaps you browsed a website using the sdc web browser which installed spyware into the sd directory? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmi
