I'm still around people, just got lotz on my plate. -Leaving the Skinning in the capable hands of my Man Andrew (neone6) for now.
Thank you again for making all your great work available for free. I'm sure I'm not the only one grateful for that. We are happy to have yo man Andrew/neone6 around.
Thanks that does appear to be the pro version
Simply because there is no longer a "Pro" or "Professional" version. I think the last pro version, was SKS 5. They were "merged" and the latest version of SKS is 10.01. Stardock's SkinStudio page
Nice Jan. Now that's customization!!!
Thanks! I do lots of stuff from time to time, but only for personal use since... a long time. :)
Added RM meters & a RL calendar. I thought about making them smaller, but decided I like them big.
Some of the things I listed are probably OS related
Yes. And that's what makes skinning so hard using the current SKS with all the legacy stuff floating around. If SKS were made for Windows 10 only, those OS related issues could be easily pointed out to the skinner.
Good read, Tim! I think I have cursed SKS more than all other apps together. I hope there will be a Skinstudio for Windows 10 only but that they leave the current one available for those interested.
Could you please point to a couple of the skins you can't get access to?
Now Control Panel and file types are another story and have to be set manually for me.
Few, if any, icon package covers all the different icons in Windows, and while some have 180 or more, others have only 50 or even less. In addition, there are a few not possible to change. A great way to change any icon package, is to use the Package builder found under the Customize tab in IconPackager. Open the icon pack
Colorado Avalanche Stardock premium suite?
As I said, I don't know if it's available anymore. Might have been because of limitations and/or copyright issues to use the names. It's not a subscriber skin. Stardock sold many different suites back then and I can remember suites for Toronto Maple Leafs, University of Maryland, US Military Academy and quite a few others.
Lightstar's new Xotic wb + Deep Purple wallpaper by Richard Mohler. Iconpackage is Colorado Avalanche from the Stardock premium suite by the same name. Don't know if it's available anymore. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/4/68/468280/25ac5c66-d27b-46e8-adce-789e99ac88c6.png
ecoLogical is still an outstanding piece of work 12 years later, Mr. Benedict! And there are more like Slider , Knot Aero , and the list goes on.... Fun times!
In Norway, we've had a lock down for quite some time now, and are slowly opening up society again. Almost no new daily cases (see graph) and very few are hospitalized.
I.e. so that all you see is the application icons. This is 2020 no one needs names for apps anymore.
If you have WindowFX (included in Object Desktop or standalone), that option is available there.
How do I keep this from happening? Thanks, John
Could it be because the licence is for 1 computer, not 2? END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
Love this Windowblind. Where is it at?
It's one of adni18's creations, the premium Graphite GUI, from his site.
You can always disable it in Task Manager:
All the images are encoded.
Then I guess there are different versions, because mine is not, and yes, I know about the encoded skins like i.e. Sins of a Solar Empire wb.
The windowblind skin is from the Halloween Premium Suite (subscriber skin). It's for XP & Vista so my guess is what he is asking , is where & how in Skinstudio he can look for the correct settings for those buttons.
I don't really understand what you mean. There are 55 icons in both pictures. There are lots of Halloween skins, so a link to the one you use would be helpful. Also which version of Windows & the version of Windowblinds you are running.
Great looking desktop, C!
Nope.... MadIce [Matthijs Vermeulen]...
I remember MadIce when I see the name, but I would never have guessed that. What I do remember is Digital Age (TheGreenReaper) which had animations and was very cool back then. A good thing some of those old skins don't work anymore because the memories would be ruined.
Uninstalled Curtains and the problem seems to be solved. I didn't use Curtains much, so I'm just happy Windowblinds works for now. Thank you!
