Steam recently changed the way they manage DLC. As silly as this sounds I suspect someone is not properly activating/deactivating the DLC.
I brought it up in today's meeting and confirmed we have it tracked down. Not sure when we'll have a patch for it but watch this space (and our patchnotes)!
We have also been doing some updates on the GalCiv wiki . Whilst not done yet we are hoping to get more up to date information about our games on the wikis to prevent obfuscation.
This would be a nice feature but unfortunately I can't see use adding to Ashes at this point. Maybe in the sequel. What you can do is load a save game if you are playing with friends and want to resume a game.
First I've heard of this exploit. Does this happen on all AI levels?
What platform are you on?
At least you found it now :)

GC3 is already running on a 64 bit thread neutral engine designed for turn based games. There is little reason to try to create GalCiv for the 4th release in Cider. I'm afraid I don't see Ashes 2 getting bumped up.
This might be due to steam syncing or a bug report being uploaded. Does this happen everytime you close the game? What is your internet connection speed like?
We have had a similar report on discord and will be investigating this week. If you are still experiencing this issue can you confirm these steps to reproduce: Start Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation On Main Menu, select Multiplayer On Multiplayer Menu, select Unranked 1v1 Match Error message is shown, click OK You are returned to Multiplayer Menu
As the title says, I am curious which titles members of our community have snatched up during the various sales this summer. Personally, I've been more in a TTRPG kick, but I did finally grab SpaceEngine on sale and got Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC.
Microsoft has always acted a a monolithic entity. Nothing about this really surprises me. Microsoft has just been on better behavior in recent years.
I think these were posted on Steam discussions as well right?

Reminds me I still have a couple old macbooks lying around. Though one is certainly not in a good state. There was a time when they were very well built. From what I've heard though I think the construction has gone downhill in recent years.
If I remember right this is due to the way the game scales for your hardware.
Folks, 1. Does Stardock have a roadmap for GalCiv 3 or am I late to the party (again) and no more expansion is planned? 2. Is commerce raiding in the game? v/r feld
We don't have a public roadmap for GalCiv 3. But, we are working on something GalCiv related. You'll just have to wait to see what that is :)
There is this really exciting game guys. It's called Fortnite :P
Good thing you got the replacement. These things always seem to happen when you least expect it.
Shops are reopening here. Things are slowly returning to normal.

Sounds like it could be something related to your IPs. Were you able to play MP in the same setup prior to 4.0?
