That's a very specific mod. I am not aware of such a mod existing.

Checking up on this post it does sound like you were just experiencing a dependencies issue. Though I also want to clarify that there is no "gc3crusade" for the actual game files. The directory should be something like this on Steam: steamapps\common\Galactic Civilizations III
Fancy Samsung SSDs
trims2u: The core reason why we don't maintain a public bug database is because it would only be additional work for everyone in maintaining it. There was some momentum for fans maintaining an XML fixlist. But sadly that never got anywhere. If you want to take the initiative on creating something like that though I can present it to the team once you have something and maybe even help get other players using it.
Assuming you are using Steam make sure you haven't deselected the "Core Game" DLC on Steam.
The files which get created in your my documents are not your game files but settings and save games type stuff. Your game should be installed to (assuming you're using steam) the steamapps folder.
Quoting SchismNavigator, reply 6 On the subject of dual purpose you'll see some changes in the next update for that. I think I remember you mentioning that the Ion Cannon will be getting some buffing in the next update and now you saying there are mo
OK, this is in 3.8 now. BUG: For the Subspace Resonator-B improvement (special reward from colonizing a Precursor planet), the "level" bonus it receives is set to the wrong type. It's an absolute number, not a percentage. As such, it get 0.5 Sensor power per level, which is so tiny as to be ludicrous. The proper thing should be +5%/level to GLOBAL sensor power. [/
Thanks, reported this one.
Finding bugs and exploits are key to making solid games, and also part of the joy of computing. It's up to Stardock now to see if they decide to fix it or not, we win either way [e digicons]:)[/e]
Personally I don't see the point of fixing this particular exploit. Exploits are in every game and are often a big part of the speedrun scene. If it was something that was more mainstream in the
Ashes Tournament Signups: Only Three Days Left! Hello Ashes and RTS fans alike! A couple of weeks back we announced the new Turinium Cup, our first official tournament for the RTS game Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation. We could not be happier with the response! Our goal was to aim for around 20 sign ups and we have now hit 15 people who are signed up and ready to go next week! However, t
Heh, yeah seen this one. Not sure if the exploit he uses is really that big of a deal though. Obviously people can cheat and find exploits if they want. Just look at any speedruns. If this was more of a core gameplay bug we'd want to look at it though.
@FoxURA: I like the idea of a tower guide. I'll see if we can get to work on that. The screen shake is something I'll bring up. @Darvroth: I know we are still working on some of the AI and there has been some discussion of indicators. Part of the issue is calculation for when there are things blocking the path. On the subject of dual purpose you'll see some changes in the next update for that.

Too many to really list but I'll try to pull up the obvious ones that come to mind. Lucasarts adventure games (all of them pretty much), Deus Ex (best FPS-RPG of all time for me), Thief (especially 2), Ape Escape, Super Mario World, Sonic And Knuckles, Flashback, Pitfall, Metal Gear Solid, Star Fox 64, Starsiege, Unreal Tournament 2003/4, Half Life, Homeworld (1, Cataclysm and 2), Command & Conquer (all of the Westwood titles), Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, Freespace 2 and Beyond Go
I think my earliest community experience was a combination of Gamespy servers, usermade forums for different clans I joined and of course the old MSN service which was more popular here in Europe than America oddly. I also did IRC off and on for awhile. It was actually through one of the last IRC servers I was a part of where I learned about Discord a few years back. Something I really miss even today was a lot of the old community servers for Team Fortress 2 I would play on. Before t

Funny timing, I've also been playing a little more Stellaris recently after having taken a long break from it. There are definitely still things I like about the game, especially with its atmospheric music and writing. There's a lot of clever adaptability with its ethics systems too. However, I'm still frustrated by the way its AI works, or doesn't. I also feel as though the change in direction from 1.0 has taken something away. Originally you could choose what type of FTL travel your

This is where we can have a lengthy discussion about design choices vs immersion and how different actions are justified. I believe there is also a huge debate about this in FPS games that usually goes by the fancy term ludo-narrative dissonance. Practically speaking this is something that would at best be revisited in an eventual sequel, there are actually a number of things Brad himself has suggested he wants to revisit and do differently in a new title. Although, for the sa

Hi, I'm afraid this is a driver issue specific to nVidia cards that affects some users and not all in the same way. We are still working to find a solution which can also be helped by reporting the bug to nVidia themselves who are continually updating.
I do not think this is a significant issue. You should be able to create your tool and open source the code which you write. However, names are automatically protected under IP law. From what you describe the program being used for I do not think it is a barrier. But, be careful in how you present it.
