Hmm. If you payed for everything, you wouldn't get shareware signs. If your computer freezes then I think you have other stuff on your computer that might be causing your problem. It's called spyware. Scan your system with Spybot. It's free.

Try opening the skin in Skin Studio and edit the colors there. Scroll down the center panel in skin studio to "classic Colors" and click and edit away. You might be a little overwhelmed by SS at first but, that is probably the best way to make sure the settings stick. Oh yeah, I should add. "For Personal Use Only" [Message Edited]

Wait I minute, I resign my post #11, because I agree with post #9, so I won't submit my skin. Its useless against the great skinners like Boxxi, and according to the Mr. Spyder, there is favoritism anyway. So, I won't be posting my skin at the Olympics. Its useless.

Yes, I think it comes from the days of Win98 users. Remember WinXP replaced Win98SE. Most users preferred Win98SE to Win2000 or WinME. And Win98SE handled memory in a terrible way compared to WinXP. Win98SE had lots of memory leaks. With Win98SE my system dragged with Windowblinds and Object Bar alone. It is much different in WinXP.

I have Windowblinds and I have absolutely no problems with any programs. It sounds to me that you may have a conflict with other dll hacking programs or maybe Internet Explorer is corrupted. You shouldn't blame windowblinds for the problems on your end. If you truly want a clean install of windowblinds now, I would recommend a complete wipe of your hardrive, install your operating system, SP1 and the drivers, and then install object desktop. Leave all the other dll hacking stuff off your system.

To create a subskin, you need skin studio. To add a title bar from a different skin, you need to add a per application setting for that program in windowblinds per application setting. Its in the windowblinds settings dialogue last one.

Personally, I sort of resent the remarks about skinners not trying to be creative. I think a lot of the problem has to do with usability. When I design a skin, I want to be able to stand looking at it without going dizzy, or having my resources to zero. I actually spent five hours finishing an animated title bar then, I scrapped it. Then, one has to take into account that many skinners aren't doing this for commericial purposes. There are many other varibles to designing skins and so m
