Yep, this one has definitely set my aspirations high. Great work Mormegil. This is the greatest thing since FauxS-Toon.

I'm a big mouth, a rebel without a cause, but I walk the line. Most of the time.
(Thumb in my eye)
It sounds to me like you messed up the template real bad. I would create a new template and copy your images to it.
I noticed.
If it acts like UzEE, and talks like UzEE. hmmm.
Remember Error501, "Sometimes, silence is the best defense"
Bakerstreet, just be glad you had the backups. Whew.
In fact, I'm finishing a theme that has no lettering there at all. Just one big (oops can't give it away). lol.
With windowblinds you can change the button to whatever look or color you want.
I thought I'd post this here, instead of starting a new topic, since the topic is the same. I believe there's some rating abuse going on with regards to this skin. It's not right to rate a skin just to bring down the skinners rating. Surely, this skin deserves better than a 1 rating. I hope it was a joke. The comment regarding this is at https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&skinid=3702 I think this is an abuse of rating privileges. I'll wait for an administrator to comment b
Icon Packager just replaces the icons, and it has no TSR, therefore it doesn't slow the computer. The best thing about Windowblinds is that it doesn't replace your shell and make your system more unstable. I have a PIII 750 with 384MB Ram and I run WB, CursorXP, NAV, NPF, Quicknotes, and a quite a few other programs loaded during bootup and I run PowerDVD all the time. In fact, I watched Pirates Of The Caribbean a couple of nights ago without a problem. I play Computer games like Quak
Actually, I've used three or four of them. And each one finds different legitimate problems with my registry. I haven't found one that finds everything the others do.
Spybot Search and Destroy has a free one packaged with the Spyware Killer.
Hmm, I've never had a problem using PNG files, when they were accepted by SS. But, thanks for the info.
I'm glad it works for you. When, I used that randomize function, it crashed the program and windows. So, I had to take that part out. Many people seem to have the same problem. But, if it works for you, thats good.
IF the "skins" were actually walls, they may have been rejected. Notifications aren't sent when a wall is rejected because the moderators get a lot of angry, rude, cursing responses. The skins or walls that were accepted, probably need to be updated, if they were submitted in October, because of a WC system crash, which is displayed all over the site. Beware. Complaints about rejections aren't responded to kindly here. Just as the rejectee isn't too happy either. And, if it gets bad, this
Wow, if Old Crab has nothing but nice things to say about it, it must be great. And, for once I agree with Old Crab. What is this world coming to? Great Work Mormegil, can't wait. I guess I'll wait at least a couple of weeks afterwards to release my new skin. I don't dare try to compete. <img src="http://imag
Hmm, why do you need the Virus protection if you have NAV which is the best? I've found that running multiple virus protection relly screws up your system. Also, why would one need a IT Wizard to delete orphan registry entries or misplaced files? All one needs is a system scan for the file to make sure it doesn't exist.
I wouldn't blame Norton for the mishap. I never let it do anything on its own, without first verifying that it is correct. What may have happened is that Norton found your wbconfig mis-referenced in the registry, probably from updates that moved it without addressing the registry changes too. Norton would then have given a default option to move it and another to delete. Maybe you chose delete. You must perform intuitive use of Norton. I had trouble deleting things using it when I first started
There could have been many other reasons for the slow system performance with a large number of fonts. If a large number of fonts aren't in the fonts folder that would cause such a problem. If fonts are moved that would also cause a problem. If fonts are deleted and still referenced in the registry, that would cause a problem. I once had a similar lag problem starting office programs, and then I realized these sort of errors in my fonts folder. Adobe Font Manager caused me terrible problems too.
I used System Mechanic and I wasn't impressed. Once you try TweakXP Pro nothing else comes close.
I curious as to whether anyone here has reached that alleged font limit on WinXP? Then, I'm curious as to whether people with less than 1000 fonts have font problems. A corrupt font directory caused blue screens of death(BSOD) in my old windows98 machine. Then, I learned what to do to prevent this sort of thing from happening. I even see traces of the same problems in my WinXP machine, and I always fix it. It's fairly easy to corrupt the font directory when installing and uninstalling programs.
You can also burn your files to a CDR. It depends on whether you can still boot your system to windows. I would burn my back up files and install a fresh system on a new hard drive. That's the easiest way.
