I think it might be because of steam update that added experimental support for DX12 steam overlay. It crashed the game for me as well. Disabled it and crashing has stopped.
Could you please delete or remake current attack move sound for next update? As it's pretty annoying sounding. Otherwise cool update [e digicons][/e]
t and p are pretty far away from eachother in keyboard
Loving the new patch. The only thing i hate in it is that new attack move sound, it gets very annoying fast.
I have around 4-5 years old CPU, i7-2600K. Should i be worried about it or is it upgrade time?
T4s confirmed yaay! [e digicons][/e]
I have bug that after closing the game normally, it launches dxdiag every time for no reason.
I know my graphics settings resetted when i updated, but as i said, i changed them to be same as before. Though i found out that my game uses now about 30% cpu power in .50, in .49 it used 60% cpu power constantly. Graphical glitches occurred when i zoom up and down, like everything turning into blue color for few seconds.
Don't know what happened but with this new patch i get a lot worse performance with same settings i had in .49 and even some strange visual glitches. When i closed the game normally, it started dxdiag for no reason.
Not sure if AI bug, but i played on that same map, and i couldn't attack enemy units/structures and the enemy couldn't attack me. Pretty strange bug...
I just got new monitor 2560x1440 and didn't see option for it in game. Only 2560x1600 i think.
Not this issue but the DirectX12 version won't launch, steam says the executable is missing, the forum won't let me post only reply too!
There is no Dx12 version out yet for consumers. It's coming in few days.
Front Line issues Another challenge is having front lines. Right now, you can have a big army guarding a region and the enemy can walk right through it. Sure, it'll take casualties but they can still basically bypass your army. Now, the obvious solution is to create a zone of control where they siimply can't drive through your units. But that creates quite a nasty path finding challenge along with UI
Eeek wanted to test with dx11 first before switching to windows 10 but by the time the 13th comes round there won't be any 8.1 users left to do dx11 testing [e digicons]:P[/e]
Why can't you test dx11 on windows 10?

Do we get the alpha in Steam or in Stardock website?
I totally agree with this. I have the Founders lifetime edition as well and just can't wait to start playing at least the friends and family alpha.
So as i understand, to run game with good performance, you need directx 12. So do we need to wait till it gets released so we can start playing AOTS alpha/beta?
