Good post DsRaider, I concur on pretty much all accounts.

1. strategic spells - more weather control plz 2. i wish there was a real reason to manually layout my cities - some fun meta-game 3. changing the geography of the map over time - "terraforming" / outposts, roads..
I don't know the answers to any of your questions, sorry.
Oooh, yum! Please, also: Essence could be spent on: (a) Reviving land to build cities on OR ( Turning people you found on the map into Champions (you would not have enough essence to do both well). You could marry and have children which would, if you were willing to hold off on using up your essence, result in more powerful children. You could use children to create alliances by betrothing them and this was the primary mechanism for winning via alli

Gustav Holst's "The Planets" is another great background piece for this game. I just turn the music volume down in the game settings (leaving sound effects and other sliders up), and play music through my stereo, or some media player on my computer.
Nice! I've been designing professionally for about a decade and didn't even know there were options for recovering corrupted psd's. Although they occur infrequently, I've resorted to saving countless iterations of files just in case. I have no doubt that this SW will come in handy some day. Thank you very much!
I concur. Just finished configuring a new gaming laptop for myself, and the first thing I wanted to do was iron man through a game of LH (plays like a rogue-like strategy game). This game ages like fine wine - it actually gets better over time. SD, you've really whittled this one down into a keeper. Well done!

Seems to me the game makers should create a symbol based interface for multilayer games. Wouldn't that simulate different species who don't communicate well? Kinda like a symbol based pidgin, a basic trade/diplo language, "galact-lingo" using symbols rather than words. Then peopl
Hero's Quest (as it was called before the copyright-spat-rename) was my first rpg
It was one of my firsts too, and I still find the series to be one of the best interactive experiences ever designed. You are going to love Heroine's Quest. It was released on the 25th, and I just happened upon it a couple days after: definitely my favorite Christmas present.
For any lovers of a good Adventure or RPG (especially fans of the Quest for Glory series), this was just released: Heroine's Quest It's free. Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok is an adventure / RPG hybrid. Like in many adventure games, you have a world to save, and must use your wit, guile and inventory to puzzle your way through. Like in many roleplaying games, you can

Great presentation. The adventurous spirit of this project is exciting. Life is all about breaking boundaries.

Those numbers at the bottom of each page of the wiki are real, representing how many times a page has been downloaded (by a browser). These can be generally thought of as unique hits, while the same user accessing a page multiple times may not necessarily insinuate that their browser actually re-downloaded it. Every browser and user has different settings for when to "check for new version of pages". An edit to a page is definitely a hit, as the editor's browser will download
