combat is great. ai is good, multiplayer is better. stacking drastically reduces micromanagement. plus, unit types (that have advantages and vulnerabilities), and operations (strategic spells), keep stacks of doom from growing out of control. put all your units in one stack and watch the ai nuke it (operation) to hell without even touching it.
how is it so far?

There were NO quests You could marry and have children which would, if you were willing to hold off on using up your essence, result in more powerful children. You
next to the keyboard, a wacom intuos 3 is my main method of input; really only switching to a mouse for real-time gaming. for decades i relied heavily on the mouse, only using wacoms for design, but a few years ago i started suffering from a neuro-physiological imbalance akin to half-body carpel tunnel (being right handed, my right side of course), and just sitting for extended periods can be rather painful, let alone mousing for 10+ hours a day. as a result i began relying on the

like i said: reading is so last century. frog, will you please update the op with your statement that " "It wouldn't be a major game project. More like a stand alone DLC level thing for players who wanted to see what awOM was supposed to be like.m what shipped" , so this thread will stop filling up with invalid data.
*snip
The only possible explanation for your post is that you missed the part where Frog said "It wouldn't be a major game project. More like a stand alone DLC level thing for players who wanted to see what awOM was supposed to be like.m what shipped" . Again, how anyone could say no to this^ is beyond my comprehension.

Give Legendary Heroes a War of Magic make-over, and release it as either an expansion entitled "Elemental: Fallen Enchantress - Legendary War"; or as a stand-alone entitled just "Elemental: Collectors Edition". Toss in multi-player and call it "Elemental: Tome of Masters". Also, polish the hell out of it, and tighten up modding support. I'll buy it, and I'm a man of my word.
Great! Just PM an email address to either parrottmath or myself for us to send login info to.
Oh wow I've never seen that before. Soo good, thank you. Amazing show. @RND & Picard
Decades of the same songs over and over have ruined Christmas music for me, but I am still quite particular for the Carol of the Bells..
I've made the Wiki as intuitive to edit as possible, and there is a section near the bottom of the home page with some additional tips and guides. In general, once you've logged in just click the Edit links or the red, broken page links around the site and you will be presented with a text formatting box very similar to the one I'm typing this in right now.
Just a note: now that I've got the Wiki more or less rolling on it's own, I plan on revisiting this project. However, I will most likely wait to first see what Stardock has in store for the UI .
Check your PM's when you get a chance.

I am pleased to announce the launch of a new, community-driven reference Wiki for Legendary Heroes and the rest of the Elemental games. As this is a community-driven project it is intended to grow to no end, and become a place where we can solve the many mysteries of Elemental for years to come. In this light, the wealth of t

=] what a great thread. right back at ya frog, thank you for the wonderful little diamond of a community in this rough we call the internet. should be getting ready for dinner so don't have much time, but in the spirit of the thread... - life - family - safety - good food - whatever tomorrow may bring happy thanksgiving, please pass the pumpkin pie!
I think the first game to get me like that when I was young, where I felt totally immersed in the character and world, was Quest for Glory 1 (still one of the best RPG series ever designed if you haven't experienced it yet). Once MMO's rolled in, it was Shadowbane that captivated me the most.
those were the days.. good read.
it's not a wide game (yet), but it is deep. while it may be simple, it's also very refined. the tight game play, streamlined ui, and presentation are worth checking out. got me for a "omg is that the sun!?" this morn. plus the developers are quite active; the forums are starting to fill up. a solid launch with a lot of potential - 87
