Is that an update to the: MULTIPLAYER: Escalation Browser from the 21th Dec (https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/481111)? The old browser still works for me, but the new one I can't start, it says something like: "steamapi failed to init". Any ideas?
</p
My apologies,Ticktoc; I will attempt to be more clear. Yes, it will be looked at. My reason for wondering if people were seeing tearing with it off is to see if the workaround was indeed worse than the actual reported issue. The number of people that would have to use it at all, however, should be nominal - we have only seen the 'jitter' in very rare instances and not always consistently among them. But again, yes, it will be looked into.
I hope turning off v-sync is considered a very temporary workaround, people have v-sync on for a reason.
The primary being to eliminate tearing. Are (any of) you seeing that with it off?
i tested it; yeah it seems like it solved the issue
Glad to hear it... Let us know if you need anything else.
Ok, so it seems if you turn off Vsync, the issue is resolved: http://sd.stardock.com/sean/JingImages/2016-08-04_1542.png Can others confirm?
@never123 @razorlight Can either of you elaborate on ' DX12 panning bug'. Perhaps add some video of it happening; at least more detail of the issue and how to reproduce. This could help with recording: https://www.mirillis.com/en/products/action.html Thanks for your help guys...
Try deleting the settings.ini from My Games\Ashes... and trying again please. If it fails, try some other options here: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Knowledgebase/Article/View/530/175/general-ashes-troubleshooting There are things detailed there we need coupled with placing a ticket directions.<
Mellified_Man was trying to help and is a very respected member of the Stardock team. Please consider that when choosing your words and tone @lilosmith.
I had seen this, but quitting the game and restarting resolved it when I did. I gather that does not work for you? If not, does any variation of resolution alter it? I would like to also get the results of this tool sent to <a class="bb_link" href="https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?url=http://sd.stardock.com/Support/supportToolTest/SDSupportTool.exe"
If you disable AVG, as a test, do you still get the error?
Your orders were placed in a queue for review. It's a fraud protection measure meant to protect our clients from would be identity theft. In your cases, it would seem they were false positives. We are sorry for the delay and frustration. That said, I manually processed your order, nickadelson, and you should have a confirmation email by now. r4v1n0, you ordered twice; two different versions. I'm going to place a ticket for you as
