I need some systray help, please? in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I've started working on my first DX theme and have run into a problem... I've made my taskbar and systrays, and the taskbar object works just as it should, but the systray seems to be nonfunctional. The icons show, but when you click on them nothing happens. I know that somewhere I'm missing something because if I click on the systray in a theme made by someone else, they seem to function just fine. Any ideas what the prob is? Why? What's wrong with it? I like being able to take all the parts that I've put together and having them all applied at the same time when I want to use that particular look again.

I ask this question because I have noticed that some parts of my desktop themes don't save when I click 'save desktop' under the files menu in theme manager. After doing a little investigation, I found that some of the applications under theme manager will only save certain file types. For example Winamp will only save 'visicolor.txt' (whatever that is) and .wsz, which is the skin type used for Winamp versions 1 & 2. Versions 3 & 5 use .wal or .zip files. And based on some of the things you've told us concerning the running and support of the WC website, cost vs. profit on software, idiotic lawsuits and so on, I sometimes wonder why you continue to do it. See, this is the thing that I would like to see improved. The documentation for the various programs gives just a brief overview of the programs, but doesn't really get into the specifics. Better documentation would also eliminate some of the questions posed here because of this basic overview. This will probably bite me in the butt, but here goes... I recently upgraded to DX v2.2 and now when I work on my theme (an LCARS theme) none of the changes I make will save to the theme file. If I restart DX it's as if nothing had been changed. So if you kind people can offer any help it would be much appreciated, and thank you in advance (tyia).

Hey Paxx, how do you think you turned out? I mean, you were an only child. How was your life as an only? I ask 'cause my son is our only child and after having dealt with him for just two years, my wife says, "No more, the factory is shut down." Hi. I think that the install.log is actually associated with SmatStartup. I had to do an uninstall and what I did was to click on SmartStartup, then ed 'Automatic', followed the dirctions in the dialogs and that did it for me. If that doesn't work then do the same but 'Custom', then you just all in each window and that will remove it for you. Hope it works for you! <A HREF="https://www

You all seem to echo my thoughts exactly. I've gone with the idea of dual drives ever since my son (he was 18 months old at the time) managed to crash my system by repeatedly turning the power off & on. My best guess is he corrupted the boot sector. He is now two and more dangerous than ever! It's all the flashing, blinking lights!.
