I can undestand how my wife might feel $400 or so is a lot to spend, especially when you can buy a CRT for half that amount. But I want it anyway!!! I will probably catch the least grief if I just save for it.

I would like to know if there is a way to play the tracks that I dl from iTunes in Winamp. Seems like they are save in a file type that WA doesn't play, or am I just doing something wrong? TIA

Yesturday I had the opportunity to work on my boss' computer (she has a 17 inch LCD monitor, I have a 17 inch CRT monitor), and I was BLOWN AWAY! The sharpnes, the clarity, even on tiny type was excellent. My question is: How do I convence my wife (who thinks of a computer as just a tool) that $400 or so dollars is NOT unreasonable for a monitor?
