Chrome is no longer working with Groupy here - I haven't used Chrome in a month or two, because I now use Brave instead, but when I started up the old version of Chrome just now, it worked OK with Groupy. When I went to check the Chrome version, it auto-updated to Version 78.0.3904.70 (Official Build) (64-bit) , and this no longer works with Groupy - so it looks like the core of the

This same problem just happened to me with the Brave browser - it's been working with Groupy until I updated Brave today, and now it's stopped working. MS Edge browser is fine. BTW Brave uses the core Chrome browser engine.

Looks like Groupy will continue to be the only option for at least the short to medium term as Microsoft have scrapped the original Sets idea (which was based on the Edge browser which itself is being rewritten to use the Google Chrome engine). One gets the impression that MS still want to do something along these lines though.

I've had this problem on 2 computers now (desktop & laptop) both running Windows 10, two days ago on the PC and today on the laptop. In both cases, directly downloading the installer from the website via a browser worked OK.

The task bar hiding problem isn't a Star10 issue for me, but to do with Windows 10 notifications. I had this problem on both my desktop machine and laptop after installing Windows 10, and it seemed to go away for a while after installing Start10 - I thought Start10 had fixed it, but it came back. Good news about the lockups! As far as orientation goes, the sizing of the main frame was inconsistent, for example, rotating an almost full screen window (not full-screen) from vertical to horizontal would often result in a very small window instead of one proportionally sized. The most annoying thing was that the app content would often occupy a much smaller area than the window frame, and required a resize action (which is quite awkward in touch tablet mode, when you don

It's hard to say - sometimes when I click on an open app, or switch to it, it's just totally unresponsive - I can't even close it. When I open TaskManager to close the app, I see the app nested inside MM, and TaskManager tells me MM is unresponsive. I don't see any messages, the app just locks up.

I had to uninstall ModernMix 1.10 from my MS Surface Pro tablet, because, apart from annoying display & framing problems when changing orientation, it kept crashing, and when it crashes, it takes the app with it. This is unfortunate, because, as a table/notebook crossover, the ModernMix should be ideally suited to it, but it's just too buggy to use.

I just installed Multiplicity on two Windows 8 machines, and it works - however, both systems are set for left-handed mouse use, i.e. primary and secondary mouse buttons are switched, and Multiplicity doesn't respect this mouse button setting on the secondary PC. When I move the cursor onto the secondary PC monitor, the L/R mouse buttons are inverted (back to the right-handed default), which makes it very difficult to control. Please fix it so

This confused me at first too - having just installed ModernMix, I was expecting to be able to open modern apps either from ModernMix, or the Start8 menu, or the desktop, but they didn't appear there. It wasn't made clear that you have to go to the Windows 8 Start screen to launch them first, and then you can pin them to the taskbar or put shortcuts on the desktop or Start8 menu. No problem really, but it would be nice if the ModernMix interface listed the modern apps
