Sounds, like the general consensus is to skin glass bars. Does that mean I should disable non-glass elements? OR would i just make secondary images not containing transparency for the non-glass? I'm assuming it will choose the proper images depending on windows settings?
little help or explanation needed. When attempting to skin certain sections of explorer/7 parts. Such as favorite links BG, (or any part of it really), my transparent sections are not showing up properly when applying skin. Skin Studio shows them properly though. My favorite links bg is also not being rendered at all. see attached image.
Hello, I am attempting to skin windows blinds (using skin studio). When trying to use transparent areas in certain explorer parts, they show up black once skin is applied (see attachment) even though they render properly in skin studio's preview. Any help? I have tried both PNG with direct alpha, and BMP with magic pink alpha to no avail. The transparent sections are rendered white if I use "Personalize>Non-aero" in windows settings, and
