I hope things continue in such a positive way. (I followed the thread from the start and even tho I didn't post my good wishes were there for you and your family; glad to get an update)

Interesting. I had just assumed everyone named their computers. Heck I even name all my hard drives (except for 'C'), just seem easier to keep track of everything that way. Haven't moved on to naming the rest of the equipment tho but they are all different brands so that's enough identification.
[font="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"]Just a note to say I had that happen a while back (I use MP Pro) and it turned out to be caused by an update to my security software (Norton on the primary machine). Fixed that and all was well. Another observation: at first I rebooted while trying to get things to work, then I discover the function keys for switching between the machines still worked and would move me back to the primary machine . Had to actually use the keyboard and mouse belonging to the
[font="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"]I found XP to be a big improvement over 98 or ME (even before SP2) and recommended to friends to upgrade. I suspect, from various readings, that Vista does not suck. But the biggest problem for me it that I don't see any real advantages. My setup works just fine (dual core E6600,2G,etc), runs all the programs I have, etc. I'm sure there will come a time when programs start being Vista only and I will take that Vista disc on the shelf and install it but right no

Don't have the workstation version but no problems with the Home 9.0 version on XP
I would pay $25 not to have activation. I've had 3 problems with Stardock programs, the last time I just stopped using that program, the first two times I sent a email to Stardock and got them resolved but I didn't bother the next time as I seldom used that particular program. Makes one reluctant to update despite having a subscription. Photoshop CS2 will insist on reactivation over the slightest change (on my system anyway). And I agree with the comme

I think you should go with what you like but since you directly asked I'll give you my own impression : I really like your pictures but have not been as keen on them as walls since you started putting in people. I thought The Frog picture was fantastic but I didn't download it. I must admit I looked at as to how I could get the boy out to use it as a wall. As a picture (painting) it is so very well done and I admire it but for a wall - for me - I just
Yes, please and thank you.
I was getting the same result (yellow triangle) when I tried to change an icon. It was even worse as got a error message and it shut down when I clicked on preview or load. However updated to version 3.00.89 and I can now change icons plus load and preview are working again.
Windowblinds
same guy left another lovely one on the Re-Blueminate windowblind.
I've just been ignoring it cause I don't shutdown very often but this got me curious. On my system removing docklets didn't have any effect. Unloading OD before shutting down - only diff is getting message earlier instead of later. The problem seems to be related to McAfee Viruscan. If I turn it off, log off is fine. I didn't use to have this problem and have had McAfee on along. Do you run VirusScan also?
Just a note to say that I have the same thing happening. Using ObjectDock Plus 1.1.5. No solution tho.
From a user's point of view, I don't care if it's a port or an original. Just appreciate well done windowblinds and other skins. So keep porting. I admire the creativity of the designer and the skills of the a good porter.
Thanks for the responses.
I installed 1.09(b) via Stardock Central. I lost the text on several of my tabs but not all. When I tried to change them in Tabs & Styles nothing was showing up. I went back to 1.04 and all is fine again. Anyone else have that problem? Solution?
Would rather have newest on front page. By the time they are 'popular' I've either downloaded them or don't want to. Other pages : more thumbnails and larger. What happened to the 'enhanced" view with larger preview pics? I find the current ones too small to review anything but the colour. Will there be an option in user preference to show more than 5? 5 is too few. Mainly for these two reasons I keep going back and using the old site.</fon
Some comments on my reaction to the new site: Win.Customize banner is even taller than the other site. A waste of space. Tabs did shorten the area a bit but still wider overall. When I open the first page I have to page down or scroll to get to anything I want to view. The top part is filled with featured skin, featured suite(purchase item),top skins, and ads(Stardock). Even the library isn't visible. As you can tell I'm only using 1024 but sti
I was planning on purchasing it then noticed the comment on the ISP across the wallpaper (also on the startmenu). I think it looks like a nicely done package that is maybe a little highly priced given the limited contents. It's the paying to put someone's ad on my desktop that stopped me. And it has nothing to do with paying for skins (I do) but rather with paying for an ad.
