I think you can uninstall the Console without effecting the Java itself. Firefox has a extension call JLib, that's the Java plug-in. Now, there has been some bugs with it not working correctly. I'm not sure if they fixed it or not. However, I saw my mom using firefox downstairs and playing on POGO. The only thing I can think of, if it's just the updated browser without any extensions, it should work. I don't they didn't install anything on it

It's been in the idea stage for a very long time now. It's just when the poll is put up, it doesn't win overall. So it keeps getting pushed further into the future. Maybe eventually. It's like the Firefox skins also, how many are going to make skins for the software? So far, there is only 10 Firefox skins. I'm working on a update of mine plus planning on designing another one. But it is time consuming for the FF skins, not sure how much time it takes o

Firefox and POGO DO NOT play nice together. You do have to use IE to play POGO. Firefox has some issues with Java even after installing the JLIB extension.
