Are you using the latest drivers? They would be the CATALYST RADEON 3.4. Make sure you are using the drivers best suited for your OS. You may also want to read the Release Notes of each of the games to see if there are known issues. You could try http://westwood.ea.com/ for information on C&C games. I'm not sure who released Moto GP. Hope this helps.

As I stated before, I, too, am having the display issues when CursorXP is loaded. I am using a Toshiba 5105-S607 with an NVIDIA Geforce 4 Go card. There are no updated drivers available on the Toshiba website. Regardless, this appears to be a CursorXP issue. When the program is not loaded, the problem does not occur.

To clarify, the problem we're seeing occurs on pages with drop-down menus. When you scroll up or down the page, the menus become skewed. There are many drop-down menus on Alienware's configuration pages. This is why the site is a good test subject.

By what means did you come about with the number of downloads, Styl? Is that the number of kilobytes? You should just be able to select a WB from the Appearances tab of your Desktop Properties dialog. The checkbox you're looking for in XP (I think) is "Prevent WindowBlinds from loading on startup". It should be either directly in the Desktop Properties box or you should be able to get to it via the WindowBlinds dialog, accessible by clicking the WindowBlinds button on the Appearance tab. I believe you would have to create a copy of the OD directory and then launch the OD executable in both directories. You will then have two, separate copies of OD running, each with it's own configuration.
I, too, have followed the notes about chooseing MS's JVM over Sun's. After restarting I still have the problem. Unload CursorXP and the problem goes away. Perhaps there's more to this issue than meets the eye, but IMHO I've got to lean towards CursorXP as part (if not the root) of the problem.

Thanks to the both of you for your responses. I've got to believe that I'm not the only one though. I know that Explorer is supposed to "remember" the restored down size if you right click and choose Close on the task bar button that represents an open Explorer window, while holding down CTRL.

I have noticed that window sizes are not "remembered" by Windows Explorer when using WB4. In many cases new "restored down" windows are displayed partially off screen. This is occuring in all application windows, including Internet Explorer. Is this a known issue? It also seems that when restoring down a maximized window, the size of the window is exactly the same size - only the restore button is changed. Sounds like Drakah is a stand-up kinda guy. Just a misunderstanding and an error in judgement; to be sure not intended to be malicious or plagiarism. Yeah, scratch that part about the "system file" thing. MSVCR70.dll is NOT a system file. But it is a library necessary for certain programs to run - some of Stardock's products included.

It's a system file - MSVCR70.dll is part of the C++ .NET framework, I believe. You said you already tried uninstalilng and reinstalling DX. Are you using the latest version? Are you using Stardock Central to remove/add it again or the Windows Add/Remove dialog.
