I'm glad that it's clear now, but clarity doesn't address why Stardock believed it was appropriate to provide a renewal discount last year (at at time when the regular subscription price was cheaper than it is now), but no longer does. To me, the issue isn't the money, but rather the principle of believing, as a matter of company policy, that a renewal discount was appropriate as an incentive or reward to loyal customers to maintain subscriptions just a year ago, but now abandoning that

Thanks, Basj. I somehow missed that language, which would seem clear, but for the post I referenced--from AzDude, another Stardock Community Assistant--which indicates that there is a renewal price, which was discounted to $19.99 at the time of the post (last year). https://forums.stardock.com/512318/page/1/#3851478 Based on the language you cite, if one purchases an OD subscription at the regular pri
If I were to purchase an OD subscription at the upgrade price of $29.99 (given that I am already a licensed owner of Fences), what would it cost me to renew my subscription after one year? After scouring the forums, this question is not clearly or adequately addressed. Would I pay the regular renewal rate of $39.99, the discounted upgrade price of $29.99, or would there be a further discount? In one post, a user indicates that there is a renewal rate of $19.99 for those who
I have the same question since the description on Humble Bundle refers to 'stacking displays' and a 'virtual' environment, yet I found it difficult to believe Stardock would include the KVM in the bundle, given its price. I'd like a clarification from Stardock itself, and an explanation as to why the language I referenced doesn't apply to the KVM version. Also, I'd like to understand why Stardock doesn't make it clear the version that it is offering. The fact that five dev
CNET sent me one of their Download Alerts informing readers that a new version (2.14) of Fences has been released with a link to their site, which lists several improvements. However, there is no mention of a new version on the Stardock site and the download being offered is still 2.12. If this is true, please update your site. If not, you'd better deal with CNET who is then distributing likely malware. Please advise.
