Do you mean hotkeys to activate an function even when the object hasn't got any focus? In which case you'd want to use Object.RegisterHotkey But if it's for shortcuts within an application (your widget) only then you'd need to do what Vad_M said.
Good luck on a 64mb machine. That's the graphics card.

Any news on this issue?
Any news on the Access Denied issue?
I do 3D Max modelling and can't wait for 3D skinning to arrive. I think there's quite a few people out there in the skinning community that uses 3D software. You often see graphics that's been rendered in 3D. Especially icons.
There was a Windows 3.2?? o_O

The thing is, since DesktopX uses VBScript and Javascript, then you'd think that more people with web undeveloped background would find it useful and interesting. Particularity with the whole AJAX and rich content development hype currently. Gadgets are very similar to AJAX apps. In fact nearly all gadgets use DHTML and JS except DX which got Objects to define the layout instead of HTML and CSS. I wonder how much SD has focused on getting DX out to web developers, because it should be right
Yarrh! Buggery bug bug!
Because he saw Colonel Harland Sanders? o_O
Ok. I remembered there was something about a new upload page so I tried https://www.wincustomize.com/upload2.aspx and that gave me an error message saying the preview was in the wrong format. I had saved it in a png format. Forgot that WC only accepts jpg. The upload worked once I had saved it as jpg. But the current upload page still lacks error message feedback.
Well, I'm just uploading a 600Kb file and my problem is that I do not get any feedback after I hit submit. Just that blank page.
I tried uploading a new gadget. But whenever I hit submit, it loads https://www.wincustomize.com/upload.aspx and presents this:
PS CS3 is currently beta. Hopefully fixed in the final release. Until then you can exclude the app from skinning.
I'd even have a DX gadget done if I hadn't stumbled onto a DX bug. So yea, must be something in the air. 2007 might be a golden year.
I hope and think KeepSafe survives. The stuff they put in Vista wasn't quite the same. I like the backup ability for each file into the context menu. But I'd wish there was an option for folders. I'm waiting for OB to be compatible with the latest WB to use the skins. And it'd be nice if it could adopt the system scheme when there is no WB applied.
Says in the article MySecret linked to.
I actually think it'd be a good idea.
Is this one of htem transformations packs that hacks and patches your system files? Don't like the sound of them.
There's been allot about what's coming up for Vista. Seem to be allot of eyecandy. Now I'm all up for eyecandy, but I really like the small utility applications Stardock has made over the years. Is there any more of that coming? Yes, I am aware of the ThinkDesk suite, I have it allready. But that was announced a couple of years ago. I'm curious about the future plans? Is the market bigger for eyecandy?
