It is currently sunny & 12 degrees C in London, United Kingdom Really? There was run today? ah yes. on mouseover for tabbed docks its currently not possible. if i can think of a low-impact way to make it possible that'll be enabled on tabs too. hrm. I'm personally not that interested in the mouseover action. But the flyout clicks are more interesting.

didn't know that came out on mouse over. I just had a look at the settings and that option is disabled to me. Maybe cause it's in a tabbed dock? I think the click to stick option sounds good. Because then the user have made a deliberate action to activate it and perform further actions. And more flyouts = good! I love the flyouts. Only thing is if the item that's the source of the flyout is at the corner of the screen and the flyouts go outside the monitor area. Like the Folder

I had a look at some of the Sidebar gadgets and noticed there was a few that displayed the MSN messenger contacts. Looking at the source I found that they all created an OBJECT element with classid clsid:B69003B3-C55E-4B48-836C-BC5946FC3B28 something like: Now, this got me thinking. Can this be referenced in a DesktopX object? Went though the list of ActiveX controls, but couldn't find anything. Anyone else got an idea of how we can reference the same object

Just had a though: It'd be nice to be able to click the flyouts from the weather docklet which would bring you to a webpage with more details for that selected day.

I'm trying to get weather info for London. But I can't get

I thinking of maybe try to update my Matrix screensaver. Seeing that it requires allot of text rendering which becomes really heavy on large monitors or multiple monitors. I was wondering if I can get it to speed up by using DirectX to render the text. I've been looking for simple examples on the net, but I only seem to come across game examples which include allot extra. Can anyone provide an example, or link to one, on how to render text in C# with DirectX. I've never don

Do you mind if I convert your tutorials to a format similar to the DesktopX manual so I can implement them into my Script Manual gadget? It'd be allot easier and better if I could streamline them into the same format. Cache pages from complex sites like WC isn't easy. As well as it's brings on a lot of extra clutter not needed.

Icons which doesn't have large sizes end up tiny with a square box around it. This is running Vista. Vista display that kind of icons when a file doesn't provide an icon in big enough size. But it appears that OD+ now uses that icon itself instead of stretching it up like it used to. Makes the icons nearly impossible to read. I know I can replace the icons, but I'd prefer to have it the way it used to so I wouldn't need to replace them.
