I just dropped by deviantArt on my daily routine. I noticed that StefanKa has just released a new version of his Inspirat visual style. For the record, I'm not all that overjoyed over all the Longhorn-based themes out there. (Or the endless mac-based eithter for that sake.) It's all a bit too many in my own opinion, but I'm not going any further on that. I think this Inspirat SE theme by StefanKa looks very good. Minimalistic, stylish and a perfect fin

Or, you could upload it to your photoalbum, assuming you have a subscription, then link it here. Or upload a screene on your website and insert it into this thread.

I was at work when I heared the news. Can't say I was surpriced. I've talked with my mates in England sometimes about terror attacks in England. And everyone expected it to come. The Underground beeing the most likely target. I've thought about it when I've taken the underground. Very hard to control, even thought they take great care to make sure unattended items are removed. I'm currently back home in Norway for the summer, working. My first tho

Ah, ok. That's nice. All thought, I don't use MS Office any more. (Or MS Works or whatever came with the computer.) Word drives me silly when I try to put more than a coulpe of images in a page. So I've moved to OpenOffice. Do you know if it will feature more products? Like Visual Studio?

Slashdot featured an aritcle today about this guy who made a new cover for his iPod in wood. What's really impressive is that the thickness of the cover is 2mm. (In imperial measurement it is... erh... very very thin.) The article features some nice closeup pictures of the finished product as well as pictures and description of how he made it.

As a sidenote, if you want to know why it's called "ping", read this article from The Institute of Internet History. http://dogme.burningman.com/~jeremymb/ioih/ It explains how the internet started out with steampipes. A quote from the article where it describes the origin of "ping" To keep the rust at bay, network operators and service providers employed young boys, and sometimes girls, to run through the pipes with stout wire brush

The simplest way to test or time the response of an Internet connection. PING sends a request to the Internet host, and waits for a reply called, predictably, a PONG. Load more definitions here: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&lr=&oi=defmore&q=define:Ping (but it's basicly the same.)

So the secret reveals it self. That thing has been taunting me for ages. I've searched every manual and searchengine to see if I could find some info about it. It'd be nice to see it working some day though. Thanks guys for bringing my mind at peace. ... now,..

Yes, I think I mentioned it once when I was reporting a bug for something, but it probably got lost in the crowd. But I'll keep an eye on the IRC channel and see if I can catch someone at SD. Who'd doing the deveolpement on WFX and WB?
