Why don't you want to use the Timer? It's the recommended way to do timing. You should avoid the Sleep command.

Does it appear on spesific controls or on the screen in general? Can you provide a screenshot? It might be due to the graphics card driver. (Though I am not sure if I understood the issue right.)

Paul Thurrott got an interesting article about raw image format support in the upcomming Windows Longhorn. In the article he explains what it means to the users that the OS supports raw images. He also talks about how Adobe and Apple have dealt with raw images and at the end comcludes with how Microsoft approaced it. Hi. I plan to use DesktopX for my final major project. However I would like to hear from you lot out there of what you think of DesktopX's performance with different hardware. Are you taking about a lyrics search widget? It might be that you have a firewall that blocks the Widget.
