I like something to do with DesktopX and/or DesktopX widgets/gadgets. I also like sysmetrix, although it doesn't seem to be all that popular.
Does anyone know how to customize the gallery of skinable apps on the left-hand side? . . . or even the skins that are listed under the "newest" tab. When I click on the newest tab it brings up every "new" skin, even for progs that I don't use (e.g. Beatnik). The only way that I could figure out how to eliminate that is to set the config. so that it will only show skins that have a 4-star rating or higher. But then it throws out skins that I would l

And here's the most interesting thing about the problem. It only occurs with certain wallpapers . . . the dark-bluish-colored ones like DanilloOC's new iFlex wallpaper. It also does it with is Anion wallpaper but doesn't do it with his 5imple or Sektor wallpaper. Weird, huh?

This has only happened in the last day or so. I am a fully licensed Object Desktop running WB 5.00[b].004. I loaded DannilloOC's iflex skin last night but tried to change the color of the skin, using Display properties. When I tried to change it back, it started messing with the wallpaper. I couldn't get the wallpaper to come back. It would just be a solid-colored background. When I finally did get it back, it went back to the solid-colored wallpa
This has only happened in the last day or so. I am a fully licensed Object Desktop user and when I load IconX (the newest version from SDC - 1.10.007, which is actually 4 months old now), it changes my wallpaper to a plain-colored background. Any ideas? (if I could post a couple of screenshots, I would).

interestingly enough, I seem to be having a problem with the LogonUI since I installed WB5. it's causing my system to crash whenever coming out of a hibernation or standby state.
I have to agree. Like Hippie, Wincustomize is the first place I go when I get online. I love this site and, for the most part, it's VERY friendly with a lot of great people that are a lot of fun to chat and interact with. Keep up the good stuff, Brad & gang.

I seem to remember reading on this site awhile ago that we should try & keep the number of handles that we run under 14,000. Is my memory correct? Beyond that, what are "handles" anyway?
