Double Zero. Thanks for the help. However, I'm not sure I understand your lingo. What is an "ogger"? I assume "AV progz" stands for Audio-Video/Visual Programs". If I am right on the "AV progz", I'm not sure how an Audio-Visual program (WMP 10, for Example) has anything to do with Logonstudio. Sorry, I'm a bit confused.

Any ideas how to fix this? I DL'd Pixtudio's Mako LogonStudio skin. However, because I have a widescreen laptop with a resolution of 1920x1200, I needed to go in and "stretch" the wallpaper of the skin so that there wouldn't be that blue all around the wallpaper. So I tried to edit the skin and "stretch" the wallpaper. But when I went to save it, I got this error message "Run-time error '53': File not found: JPGUtils.dll" Anyone know what's up wit
Yesterday I read an article posted by someone informing the rest of us of his premium suite which was now available for download (not on this website). As I read the article I found myself utterly amazed at his lack of respect for some wonderful skinners who tried to offer some constructive criticism and wisdom to his efforts. Instead of receiving it with appreciation, he retaliated with much hostility, reacting more like a child than someone who sho
Well . . . it's been awhile since I wrote anything. I don't know whether it's because I'm lazy or whether at the present moment I'm just bored. So anyway, I got rid of my pesky RX3715 PDA and got a new HP hx2755 (I think that's the model). I really dig it. It's crafted well and it's serving it's purpose. I sort of wish that Stardock did something for customization on Pocket PC's (Pocketblinds is so outdated it doesn't even run on WM2003 systems
Ahhhh . . . we must not forget Master Nikos. My apologies.
Tim is simply one of the best there is. He definitely deserves to be in the top 3. I'm curious as to who Number #1 and #2 are. I would assume Treetog & maybe Mike Bryant? Nevertheless, the caliber is unquestionably unparalleled.
Phoon, Never mind. I figured it out by going to the "Appearance" tab when looking at the Display Properties. It gives me the option of changing the font size. The only problem is that when I adjust it from "Normal" to make it larger (and readable) it throws off the "programs" portion of the start menu. However, the user icon portion and all the others seem to be ok. Anyway, thanks for your help. <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/
Phoon, You were right on the money. I did have it set to 120 DPI and when I switched it to 96, everything was ok. NOw the only problem is that my default font size is so stinking small, I can't read it. Is there any way to keep the DPI setting at 96 and yet have the default font size larger (without having to change my 1920x1200 screen resolution)?
For a little while now, Windowblinds has not been looking right in my start menu. The user icon doesn't line up with where it should be within the skin. Plus, I have words that are appearing that shouldn't be there (E.g "programs appears to the left of "All programs"). I'd post a S.S. of my situation but I don't know how to do that here in this post.
I found the same problem as Mark Busekroos. IconX hangs it up. Other than that I'm really digging it!
Well, I installed it and then had to uninstall it. MS Word (Office 2003) wouldn't open up when I had it installed. Plus, the initial loading of my machine locked up. Looks great! I'll just wait for the next beta release
Well, I still love my new computer. I'm enjoying it immensely. The 17" screen works wonderful for the 2 latest computer games I've picked up - Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth, and Star Wars: Battlefront. They run smooth and are thoroughly awesome games, IMO. Some might disagree The PDA . . . hmmm. NOw I'm not enjoying it as much. It's not near as
I like the zooming on the tabbed dock but I do wish we had the ability to control the size of the zoom.
It's great! . . . although I'm not quite sure why a Christmas tree is the default wallpaper for the evening of the winter . . . but it looks wonderful!
Re. the issue of a tune that you purchased on iTtunes being being played on WMP, personally, I think it's a really STUPID thing for Apple to do to tell you that you can't play it anywhere else. That being said, I agree with GreenReaper, that it is their right to do . . . stupid as it is . . . it is their right (again, I say it's stupid). When we buy music over the net we aren't really concerned with the contracts and the players it's played on, or ho
I just saw this forum today and will be sure to pray for your daughter. It was so encouraging to scroll through this post and read how many were willing to pray. Prayer works! And prayer time is never wasted time. If it didn't work, there'd be no point doing it. Be I, and obviously so many others here, believe that God will reach down and do something in the life of Holly that even the doctors can't do. My faith is set on total healing and recove
It's great to see that the best keep getting better: Tiggz, Danillo, Tim Dagger, Mike Bryant, Gabriel, etc. GREAT JOB GUYS! You lead the pack and clear the way for the future of this industry. Thanks for all you do!!!!
Sounds great . . . maybe a dumb question but what is the diff between the Objectdock Section and the Misc. icons section? I'd also love to see a Trillian 3 section.
Thanks for the info Brad. I'm glad to have been able to contribute and support Wincustomize, Stardock, the whole kit'n'kaboodle. I can't wait for more premium suites. They always seem to be great quality and most of us really like them. I know I'm going to get some people upset at me for this, but I hope Tiggz and some of the other Skinning monsters go premium with their work. I think it will help to raise the bar and promote greater excellence.
Well, I guess it has been a nice Christmas for me. I ended up getting a new laptop and PDA, which has been nice. I purchased a new Dell Inspiron 9200 at the beginning of November. After about pulling my hair out for a month in anticipation, impatience, nervous gitters, and the like, I finally received it the second week of December. I LOVE IT. I suped it up a bit so it runs pretty smooth. For a laptop it's great. It's got a gig of RAM, a Pentium
WOW! . . . looks interesting . . . I can't say that I would ever think about spending that kind of money on a keyboard . . . I'm not against quality, comfort, and features but that just seems like a chunk of change . . . of course, one might say the same thing about the money that I spend to customize my computer and support Stardock! . . . I guess it's all what you w
Great job on the theme. I'm using it right now. I do have one request. Would it be possible to make the Logon screen resolution independent? I'm running larger than 1600 and so I have some doubling at the edges. Thanks. Masterful work, though. . . . used it last year, using it this year!
I would like to see more Preimum suites. It's been a long while since a skin was released to WC subscribers. I think Kryptonite was the last one. And, with the exception of the "mini" suties of Spidey and Hulk, Oxidized was the Preimium Suite. Oxidized was great and I love it. I would really like to see more premium suites . . . the quality is top notch. Of course, we haven't heard from Pixtudio since the GUIO. Anyway, I'd be jazzed about that.
that's neat . . . I did the same thing about a year ago. However, my wife doesn't understand the technology. All she cares is that she's happy to get on her AOL and I can still do what I want on my laptop (I don't run AOL). COngrats and happy internetting (if that's a word
