I really like Natural Desktop too. I don't use it all the time because the sounds are repetitive and after awhile can get a little annoying. PLus, I am a creature of change and the backgrounds get old. But that's why I use it like I would any other WB skin . . . for awhile and then I'll change. It's well worth the money and one of the most original, neat products that Stardock has released! A winner all the way.

I've never been a big fan of apple computers (stemming back to my childhood days) . . . even though I did break down and contribute to the company buy picking up an Ipod (which, I will admit, was a worthwhile investment). I don't know how to do any skinning but it's the attitude that you talk about, Brad, that I appreciate. It seems like we're all one big happy . . . even though we do spar at times! <br
I purchased this Icon suite a couple of days ago and have to say congrats to Paul. Great job! . . . they look a little like the Orion icons but they are still very original. I'm very pleased and it is well worth the money! Amazing work!
Brad, I sort of understand the frustration but yet at the same time I'm not sure that everything going on is all that bad. Please pardon my ignorance because I still have yet to skin anything. But that's the reason why I come here. I'll shell out the $$ for an OD Subscription, a Wincustomize Subscription and all the suites from here, Treetog, Essorant, etc. and I'll do it because I'm happy to give to those who do such a great job at what I like that I can't do . . . yet <img src="http://
Exciting, Exciting, Exciting. Your stuff is always so clean and fresh. I look forward to anything you bring to the table!
Your honesty is refreshing. However, in agreement with Scarebear, I still go back and use old WB skins of yours from years ago. It seems that I have yet to find a poor-quality, unoriginal, haphazard skin of yours at all. Regarding your Walls, I might be the only one that feels this way but I generally like all of the WP's you provide. My main reason behind this feeling is simplicity. I think that they complete and compliment your WB skins more
ahhh . . . head to Toronto. You'll find lots of Bush supporters there. BTW, I used to live in Alberta (only for 2 years while my dad was at a church out there . . . then we moved back to London, ONT.).
Thanks Adni18. I really enjoy and appreciate your work. I haven't got around to actually skinning anything yet (maybe soon . . . or someday) but you're definitely a model for the whole community. Love truly is all we need. Thankfully we have the perfect model! - Jn 3.16 Blessings.
Interesting view . . . surprisingly similar to many Americans . . . not happy with Bush but not at all thinking that Kerry would be any better. Hmmm . . .
Well, I'm a Canadian citizen that is priviledged to be able to live in the US. I currently live in Orlando, where I am an Assistant Pastor at a church here in town. As of yet, I'm not an American citizen but plan on becoming one. I was intrigued by the response of the WC poll of who we were voting for. I wasn't necessarily shocked by the "American" response being virtually a tie between Bush and Kerry. However, I was quite alarmed by the "Non-American" response being so pro-Kerry. I don't
Frustrations are generally a personal issue. I'll bet you'd find the majority of people who purchased OD+ to be EXTREMELY satisfied with the product, as I am. I hope that you come to enjoy the functionality and usefulness of this great program. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="ab
thanks . . . much appreciated
I'm not sure what the complaint or sarcasm is about if we DID have to pay for Bootskin. Will Torro Torro have to borrow borrow?
For some reason on my own personal wincustomize page (blbeesley.wincustomize.com) I can't figure out how to recommend an article or a skin (on the recommendations page). Anyone know how? . . . I'm sure it's pretty simple and I just missed it so sorry if this is sheer stupidity.
Latin 4567, your link is messed up as well. Thanks for the fix, Kona0197.
Welcome to the "Looking forward to the new Essorant skin" column. I'll add to it by saying that Tim, you deserve some additional income! :) Can't wait to see your latest invention.
Luke, very interesting point. I guess I tend to play the "religious card" because that is who I am and what I do. I derrive all of my sense of morality from the Bible (sometimes others derrive theirs from another source . . . their choice). I don't click with the majority of ways that marriage is seen in our world today. And you're probably right that when homosexuals desire to marry it is based on a desire for a life-long commitment. I just t
Titles are nice . . . I always like being called "Mr." :)
wow . . . this forum could end up getting heated! :) Personally, I have no problem being around gay people. I've never stated this on this website before but for the purposes of this forum, I don't mind. I'm actually a pastor at a church in Florida. A gay/lesbian lifestyle is against how I believe God created us (based on the Bible). However, it's still my, and everyone's, responsibility to treat everyone the same. We're all created equal, no
Looks great. Like the originality and am looking forward to getting used to it! Great job, guys!
kona0197, you have a bad link.
yeah . . . I had that problem too . . . are you (or have you ever used) DesktopX? It's when I first loaded DesktopX that the problem happened. There are a couple of options that you could do (because I never got the problem actually fixed). 1. You could use IconX to spruce up your desktop with those icons. 2. You could go into the settings of DesktopX and tell it to hide the icons. 3. If you use Sysmetrix, you could have it hide the icons. <A HREF="https://www.
sure did . . . no luck.
I guess this forum has the potential to turn into an ugly war. I wasn't sure how to vote for this because I'm a Canadian citizen that lives in Florida. For this election I won't be able to cast my vote but hopefully I'll be a citizen within the next 4 years. Suffice it to say, I voted that I'm a non-American who would have voted for Bush. I like consistency and morality. Both of those seem to lack in the Kerry/Edwards ticket. I don't agree with everything that Bush has done but I thin
