Yea, no limit but on a single core I find it starts to chug around 300

Another Question: When making a planetary template I DClicked the planet went to scenario templates then added new one, then added 3 groups, one for each race but while adding items I added a tec to a psi. I tried to remove it but nothing happened. Delete didn't work nor clear all. I had to delete then remake a group. Is there a way to delete an item from a group I just didn't find?
Is there a way in the GF Tool to have any cap ship or ship added to worlds with a template not count against the Capt/Supply? Or can that be changed? If it can be changed could someone point me at the correct file?
If you set up the teams so you and your friend start in the right place, then you should be able to crank up the player credits and stuff for those two players... did you try it?
Hmmm no we did an alliance in game. Is thi done from the teams menu or in GForge? Will have to check that out.
So for whatever reason its reseting to default values for the starting credits.
Halefix: That was what I was asking about. Your problem is that the game randomly assign players so the 1st player on list is NOT always player0. What is prob. happening is that you were comming in as, say, player4 or a non edited number player. If you keep trying you will eventually get to be player0 but you have to start and quit until you do.
Enigma: There isn't a nice way (yet... we'll probably add this as it seems pretty handy), but if you were trying to play a 2 vs 8 with the AI, then try putting your two human players on a team. Then you should start off in the right spots.
Yea, we eventualy did that but was wondering so we could set handicaps for/against the humans (say, give more or less cred, etc to humans players using the edit players or start them with or without ships or structures.) Hope it makes
I had same issue when I made a scratch map. It let me edit some of the scnario maps fine so its probably something not being set. I got bot defeat and victory instant popups (Had 2 homeworlds). Maybe too many planets in one system? (had about 10). I wasn't a tester. On the 2 Victory ones I did see planets. I was thinking maybe it was a planet template problem?
Question: If I use the random map generator and get a sweet map is there a way to save it after playing it? Or is only way is to preview and then save?
Is there a way to set where the players will star on which planets? We have 2 human players as the first and second and then 8 NPC ones so we changed player0 and player one but it seems each time it set us on different player start planets (Randomized start possitions). Is there any way to make it so the player starts are the same number as in the setup list (AKA 1st is player0 and last player9)?
Not sure what the issue is. I pre-Ordered and got my SN# already and have the game 69% D/Led. But I ordered mine a month ago, not sure if that matters.
Or go to www.stardoc.com and sign in. It should have an area with it under "My Account" and Registrations. Also here: [link="https://www.stardock.com/support/"]Stardoc Support[/link]
I only got 1 and went through the same process. In face the game was listed in SDC as a purchased game before I got the e-mail with the SN#. Had a 502/kb sec Dl. Even had a recovery of the DL when a cat knocked over my wireless router. Went pretty smooth for me.
But you can mod it so you could make additional stuff. :CONGRAT:
Will the Sins site have a mod library like GalCiv did or will it all be 3rd party sites?
Will Sins have a mod Library on its site like GalCiv did? [link="https://www.galciv1.com/library.asp?"]GalCiv Mod Library[/link]
Another Noob Question: Is it possible in MP to have 2 human players Ally and play against Bots, maybe an alliance win option? My wife likes the game but she doesn't like to play against friends and Family.
Ouch, we can play at work and when one of use gets a call we need to stop. Is there a global chat you can say "Hey call Stop!"?
Well that's what we were supposedly going to originally get, back .....
Saw a thing on E! last night saying paramount has no plans on doing any more with the ST series. Sor unless the movie does super well it is probably dead for a while. I would have thought that they would have learned with the flop of "Enterprise" that going "BACK" and messing with ST establised history is a "BAD" idea. One thing most hardcore Trekers loved was it had a very detaile
A question from someone who hasn't played it yet: Does it have a pause button? And if so is it like say the NWN2 pause where you can stop think then give orders or a hard lock pause where you can do nothing?
So is the "Sins of a Solar Empire (CD Preorder)" from the pre-order link up top the same as the "Sins of a Solar Empire - Collector's Edition"? Was wondering cause it didn't say anything about a "CE" edition.
Ditto, I would like to see a guide to moding also. I looked but could not find any websites set up for it either (Anyone know of any?)
Can you mod starting resources or ships also?
How is the modabiity of the game? Could Moders make bigger ships?
Being new to Sins, in MP mode does "Team" mean 2 faction allied who play on same side? Thats what I think when I see Co-OP but it looks like most mean more than one person running an empire. I Like Team Co-Op where you and afried and ally against bots or someone else (PC) but not sure I like the "share" part. You tend to step on each other. Does Sins have a Team mode, and can you play against the computer in MP or only other humans?
If you have a dual core processor will the game use it?
