C'mon, you MUST have and old floppy drive somewhere... o_0
Come into IRC so we can bug you! *cough* I mean, celebrate!
lol, dude there is TWO!
Thanks for the info, Neil! (Neil is developing that project, just to let others know...)
Hmm... I could comment... I would have to say that IRC is probably the fastest way of getting help in these matters. Its rare to find a time when there is no one around to 'fix' the issues that arise...
Z71, drop us an email a [email protected] so we can talk about what you didnt like. We're new at this, maybe you can help us out!
You should be able to go get the files off of an old system and run them, but I may be wrong...
After a nearly three month hiatus, DoctorNick and CerebroJD (otherwise known as Nick Quaranto and Justin Dowell) have stepped up to the plate and are the new hosts of the UnderTheSkin podcast. The infamous Paul Boyer (Mormegil) joins us to pass the torch and rant about skins as well. Its a great show, and we had a ton of fun recording it! Please, have a listen and let us know what you think! <img src="smiles/Congrats.gif" borde
I've bought 3 things from Stardock with PayPal... works great!
Emailing now....
Nothing actually gets 'bumped'... just moved down a little.
Its an IRC channel located on irc.stardock.com... mostly we're in #stardock. You can get here quick using Stardock Central. Click on the 'chat' button in the left column, then type /join #stardock.
Are you installing WB5 to the same partition as the system files directory (C:\WINDOWS)? Not required. Mine were 4 drive letters apart at one point.
Click here to go to the Stardock Central website. Download that, install it and fill in info as needed. Once you are into the program, you need to go into the registration info section, which can be found when you click in the bottom-right corner of the program. Select Object Desktop on the left, then WindowBlinds5 from the dropdown list. Put in your serial number there, and it should work just fine for you. In order to
Why are you running a version of WB5 that is not up to date? Update the program and see if the problem persists. (All my WB5 files were updated in december... yours are all november)
I think if theres going to be winamp, it should be Winamp Modern skins only.
http://www.skins.be <-- My personal favorite... Skins.be
WB5 doesnt 'patch' anything, certainly not the uxtheme.dll.
Woo! Great idea... I'm not going to be there, but I'll sure be listening.
WindowBlinds, Iconpackager and Winamp. Again. In my opinion, these are the three best categories to work with. I agree with a fourth being added... perhaps Firefox would make a good addition? RabidRobot might be onto something as well. Maybe an non-category thing... whatever is the coolest DX widget submitted gets the creator a DX Pro license.
Hmm... I'll think about how that could be done...
I was working on a 'rain' object, but I'm still playing with ways to make the script more efficient. The main problem is that I dont want each drop to have its own script. One master controller would be ideal, and its just a matter of optimizing it from that. *Cerebro's head explodes... so many projects!*
