You forget, the technology (the intellectual property) that makes an msstyle is owned by MicroSoft. It is the ultimate rip of a visual style. The last thing anyone needs is to have MS legal breathing down your neck. We don't support rips in any shape or fashion. If we hear from MicroSoft that they are allowing third parties to make msstyles, then that will be different. But, they have not given the OK. I, personally, found it odd that DA took down our link as soon as it was pointed out that they weren't listed in the box anymore. It was up earlier yesterday. Anyway, there has always been a difference in how the links have been presented. Theirs is "partners", ours is "community". I don't know if people remember the original debate on the number of community sites in that box? How the "little guy" was left out (because they are oart of the community, too)? The community links change (are updated) on the first of the month. That list changed on November 1st. The list is based on the number of referrals that a site generates. DA just didn't make the list this time, that's all. We keep the list on the page at 5 sites, and have the full community list at: https://www.wincustomize.com/directory.asp

Feline, you don't get Hershey's there? They are a Milk chocolate (or you can get a "special dark" chocolate) bar. Nothing else, just yummy chocolate. Maybe it's considered "american chocolate". We also have Hershey's syrup and powder to make chocolate milk from. I guess I thought Hershey's was sold all over the world... hmmm.....I'm so sheltered....

Paxx, it's true. Not all the admins are skinners. I have admin access (under KarmaGirl) but I haven't used it a lot yet. However, I do have a fine art photography degree, so it is very easy for me to appreciate the talent that goes into these skins. You don't need to be a "skinner" to know what a good skin is.

I have been dieting. Last night as we were watching "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" with our three year old daughter, my husband asked me if it was "OK" to get a piece of leftover Birthday cake (my daughter's B-Day party was on Saturday). skatefx, DesktopX is an Object oriented user interface. You don't use "icons" (unless you are mixing objects and Icons). What you see are Objects. SmiLeY, You missed what started that whole "warez" thing. It was a site that was linking to cracked copies of Stardock's stuff. We asked them to take it down, so they had all their warez kiddies start attacking us. We were just talking about the site that was attacking us for us asking them to remove links to our software. I haven't read all the posts, but I know what this cat is- He's a he. In his bio, his name is Colin (I don't know any females who are named Colin). neophil78, WindowBlinds 3 works on 98, ME, 2000 and XP. Skins can be "optimized" for XP because XP has different capabilities since it is designed to be skinned (visual styles). There is no difference in the program (WindowBlinds 3) or the skin format that it uses for the different versions of Windows.

Orion, it's not polital correctness, it's human decency. I wouldn't personally attack somebody I see in person, why would I personally attack somebody on this board. Listen to what Paxx said, there is a difference between opinions and personal attacks.
