Ian (Furan) here at Stardock sent his in for repair, and it came back better than when he sent it in. Is it under warranty? If so, they need to send it back in better condition than you sent it in. they should have fixed what was wrong with it, and cleaned it for you. For no reason should they send it back in worse condition. I would contact them and make a complaint. Keep us posted on how things turn out. I'm always interested in how companies perform customer service.

I am not a moderator, but if I was, I'd look at past works of the artist and determine if the wall was something new, or a deviation of another WP. If I did so, I, personally, would have rejected it because it is too close to previous WP that received low ratings. As an example, his SpaceXP wall: https://www.wincustomize.com/library/accounts/xpfreak/wallpapers/spacexp.jpg As I said, I am not a moderator, but that is how I would moderate Wallpapers if I was one. I think it w

IIRC, Object Bar will be available as a stand alone when it is 1.0. but, IMHO, Object Desktop is well worth the $49.95, considering all the skinnable apps included. BTW, crazy-chocolate-boy, don't ask for warez copies of stuff here, or we'll send Feline to your house to find out what "Wild-Chocolate" really is.

To quote BoXXi, "we make pretty pictures to stick on your computer, end of story". That about sums it up. BTW, as most of you know, I work for Stardock. I've been here for over 6 years. Brad is not evil, and he does not do things for personal gain. This site costs *a lot* of $$$. This site does not profit Stardock. We run it with the most popular apps. If we hosted skins for everything, other skin sites would lose traffic. We are working for the community. We have had

Hmmm... I will suggest it to the powers that be, but unless somebody volunteers to do it, I don't see a faq being worked on anytime soon. The links aren't obvious, but they are there, and they work. If one of the community members would like to write a faq and submit it, I'm sure that a link can be made for it. I just don't see Stardock paying IT resources for a faq at this point. This is a community site, so if there is something you want done, don't just compl

Thank You, thank you! Wow. this is such an honor. To be recognized as the least "nerdiest" person, well, it's just amazing. It's been hard work, really hard work. I have spent the past 6 years fighting the "nerd" influences at Stardock. It really paid off. I'd like to thank: 1)My mom and Dad 2)My husband 3)My daughter 4)Tequila 5)My pet rock 6)Sophie, the moody Tektronix printer..... JavaBrain aka KarmaGirl

WindowBlinds and WebBlinds use a trademarked skinning format. Yes, themebar (or anyone) would get in *big* trouble if they tried to use it. One thing to remember about WB formatted skins (and why we protect them) is that we actually have employees that we payed to develop the skin format, and we continue to pay to work here. It's easy to bash Stardock for not having "free" everything. But, if all our stuff was free, you wouldn't be on this site complaining about it because we wouldn't make a

Jafo: "I'd only use XP if only someone would do some skins and themes for it...." Use WindowBlindsXP. It uses the same API's as "Visual Styles" uses and integrates into the "appearance" tab with the visual styles. M$ isn't supporting third party skinning of XP (yeah, there are hack ways of doing it, but not reliably). But, WindowBlindsXP does it wonderfully. There. I did my Stardock plug for the day. I'll shut up now...... at least for the next 30 seconds.... <i
