I use K-Lite. I use it to sample music before I buy an album and to catch up with TV shows I've missed. If we had the same system in music stores here that they do in the US, we would be able to listen to a CD before buying it. Unfortunately, the record labels prefer us folks in the UK to buy albums based purely on word of mouth and reputation.

There is a reason Buffy is no longer produced. No ratings. HA HA HA! If that were the case, it never would have lasted beyond the first season. I think it's pretty damn impressive for a TV show to be spawned from a very poor movie and make it through seven seasons. Sure, it's had its ups and downs, but it's never got to the point where it's lost

Dark Angel got cancelled after two seasons, and unfortunately it never really got all that good. The best thing about the show was Jessica Alba. Buffy certainly does get dark. It's covered rape, murder and countless gory deaths over the years. If I hadn't watched both shows I'd probably lump it together with Charmed too. They're worlds apart though, and Charmed actually irritates me more than it ent

I just finished watching a report on BBC London News here in the UK about the new Doctor Who, which is due to start filming soon. They had Tom Baker (still probably the best Doctor) on there and he 'let slip' that the new Doctor would be played by Eddie Izzard. I don't believe it myself, but I'm slightly worried that it could be true. Who would you like to see as the new Doctor Who?

My favorite shows are these:1. Star Trek (Original, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise (see kind of skeptikal about Enterorise))2. King of the Hill3. Simpsons4. Survivor5. That 70's Show6. Yu-Gi-OH7. Smackdown! (WWE)8. Raw is War (WWE)9. 2410. Reba Without meaning any disrespect (or much at least), my suspicions have been confirmed. You're a Trekkie w

If you're going to throw something at me, at least make it lasagne or pizza. I had a fantastic lasagne last night after I'd drunk way too much. You didn't need to know that. /me stamps his feet and pouts until he gets everything for free

I think the problem with shows like Buffy and Angel is that unless you've seen the show pretty much from the start you wouldn't understand a great deal of the writing and humour. I can see how a person who only watched Buffy for the first time during the sixth season or whatever would find it hard to follow and probably not understand a great deal of the humour which relies on in-jokes and references to popular culture. Those kind of shows are the ones that you need to stick with to get the full

About half of your list makes up a significant percentage of my list of favourite shows Kona. I consider myself very picky when it comes to what I'll watch on TV, and I'm not one for soaps or other pointless timewasters. If a show has good writing and acting, and I come away at the end feeling like it was time well spent, then I'll come back to that show again. I'd be interested in seeing your top 10 list of current favourite shows. Next you'll be telling me that CSI, 24 and the like ar

#3 by The Rated PG - 9/29/2003 4:27:21 PM as a moderator and skinning veteran I assumed that you knew not to post potential websites that are violating copyrights, rips, etc. That's generally true for an individual rip of someone's work which has been uploaded to this or another skinning site. In cases where multiple people could be affected we

There is no 'official' Rainlendar port of the metalX2 skin, and the ones you see in screenshots are usually just home-made by individuals for personal use. I have yet to see one I'm 100% happy with, but when I do I'll give the go ahead for it to be released. In an ideal world I'd have the time and the inclination to make ports of my skins for other applications, but unfortunately I don't at present. I'm still debating whether to pick up development of metalX2 again after a recent hardwa

Anyone who thinks the first couple of seasons of Friends weren't funny needs a sense of humour transplant. It's all well and good disliking it just because so many enjoy it, but when it was new it was one of the most quoted shows on TV in general conversation. Next you'll all be telling me Coupling (the original UK version) wasn't funny. Then I'd really think you had a mental problem.

Remmah, which skin exactly was it that you downloaded? If you can tell us, it will be checked for any virii and removed if necessary. If you do indeed have the Blaster worm (I think that's what you're talking about), then you should run a complete virus check on your system to remove the virus. You might also like to take a look at the following web page for a tool to remove the worm: http://securityresponse1.symantec.com/sarc/sarc.nsf/html/w32.blaster.worm.removal.tool.html

Is it possible for a child to get lost on the Internet? Seriously though, as this is a site which is viewed by people from all over the world, such a local-focussed scheme really wouldn't be viable.

Fireworks is really misunderstood outside web design circles. Most people seem to think it's just a web design application, but that's a bit like calling Photoshop just a photo editing application. Sure, it's great for creating web graphics, but it's also just as good (and better in some respects) as Photoshop for creating skin graphics. You probably could use Dreamweaver to do the code for a skin, but only in the same way you'd use Notepad. Its main use is for creating web pages, serve

My heart's been broken so many times that it's more like a little pile of bits than a coherent whole. True love's the hardest to deal with when it's taken away, but you just have to take a step back and put your energies into something else for a while. It's just a grieving process really. You never really stop loving, but eventually you come to terms with your loss and can begin to think about moving on. My advice would be to go out and spend some money on pointless things for yourself
