Perhaps this is best described through the dictionary definitions of the two words: mutation n. 1. The act or process of being altered or changed. 2. An alteration or change, as in nature, form, or quality. evolution n. 1. A gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form. 2. a) The process of developing. b) Gradual development.
To put things another way, evolution ocurrs through a process of constant mutation to adapt to new changes in the environment. Mutation is the process of changing and evolution is the process of mutation to deal with environmental changes. [Message Edited]

There's nothing to stop you downloading the icons and putting them together as an IconPackager theme yourself you know. Obviously you should use it for personal use only, and not redistribute the final file. Sometimes you'll get better results doing something yourself than asking someone else to do it for you.

Don't always accept what SkinStudio allows as the same thing as what WindowBlinds allows. Try going into the code and editing it by hand to use a TGA. It might not work, but using magic pink clearly isn't an option.
Ah, young Jedi, have patience you must. To use a WindowBlinds skin, you must first have WindowBlinds installed on your system. Take a look at http://www.windowblinds.net for more information. Once you have it installed, you should be able to install a new skin by simply double-clicking on the file in Explorer.
I'm getting a real performance hit here too Styl. I'm on an Athlon 2400 XP with a Radeon 9700 Pro, so I was surprised just how much of a hit I take! It seems that when using magic pink in single pixels the painting engine has a lot of trouble, whereas when it's used in blocks or areas it has less of a problem. Have you tried using a TGA for the background? I haven't tried it here yet, because I'm stuck with Fireworks for the moment, so I'm not sure if you even can use one for that image.
