mephisto, in your wb.ini you have UseHWAcc=0 Does this mean you are not using hardware acceleration? How does changing this value to 1 affect the benchmark? I have tried both Mmstyles and Windowblinds and I prefer WB - adni18 is right, speed is not important (just as long as it is not slow...umm is that a contradiction??) the extra features in WB such as smart buttons, roll ups and custom colours all make me want to stay with WB. I've made gratuitus use of the HOSTS file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc for XP users) just add stuff like "127.0.0.1 ad.doubleclick.net" to the file to reroute an address/IP back to you (127.0.0.1 is local IP). So what with WebBlinds, ZoneAlarm 3 and this I see very few ads.

Thank you for taking the time to make them right I have a suggestion that might (IMHO) make the vertical taskbar look better? I have made a small modification to your Boron skin. I'm not a skinner, but is a vertical taskbar really that hard to make? Surely it uses the same pic files as the horizontal bar? It would be a shame if you stop making vertical task bars in your skins as I often use your Alias skin.
