Use of icons and/or walls question in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I need some help with protocol. Say I create a skin and see some icons and/or a wall I think goes good with the skin here. So I have them on my desktop and take a screenshot and upload it with my skin.I'm not talking about distributing them with the skin but they show in the screenshot. I would like to give links to the work in my comments. I know I would need to get permission to use another author's work in my creations but how does the permission fit with what I just described? I just want to

Green_Armani nerve striking not intended I've used Bryce and it is faily easy to use and produces very realistic works (in the right hands of course) I guess I just like more variety

IPlural no doubt, some of it is fantastic. It just reminds me of some artists that keep using the same style over and over and you just wish they would try a different style or media. For instance, are you familiar with Erte? Great work but he just kept doing the tall, thin stylistic women again and again. To each his own, I guess

ok I am wondering. It seems like a short time ago I saw a thread where someone was talking about wallpapers and submissions and how everything seemed to be Bryce so was mostly rejected. But browsing wallpapers it seems like it is mostly Bryce. What gives? If you have no internet connection at the 2nd location, here is an alternative that is marginally faster than dialup. run a server at #1 with remote access enabled. run some type of internet connection software such as Sygate on #1. dial up #1 with #2 and connect to internet through #1. I've done this before and, as I say, it is a little faster than normal dialup depending on the connection you get. since the phone connection is direct it is pretty stable. That's about all I can th
