Isn't WindowBlinds a 'work'? Seems like Delicious had a comment in another thread about the shortcomings of WB 4 beta and she caught h*ll about it (even though it was apparently true). Is WB considered a 'person'?

I've seen problems with both CD drives (reader and burner) on the same IDE. It has to do with the bus rather than the drives. Try them on different IDE's and see if it stops.

Aaron's methods aside, this site is not really about constructive criticism. It's about putting up your work, primarily skins, for other people to use if they wish. The reason wallpapers are moderated is not so much for quality as it it is to hold down the #'s online. The wallpapers are just to supplement the skins. Besides, it's not nice to tell the Emperor he has no clothes.

Aaron If you're looking for constructive comments here, you pretty much not going to find them. As you stated, most comments are how great the skin is and seem to be based primarily on popularity. Technical details or skill usually rates way down on the scale. You can post on the message board for help on specific issues and usually get a response but if you're looking for help on "How do I inprove my skin,wallpaper, etc. it ain't gonna happen. Select the tabs on the windows view. If color is not showing in the section view, add it for normal, pressed, focus etc. Set your color there for tab text color.

I'm not sure if I've seen that but I have noticed sometimes when I click on a link in IE my whole desktop including taskbar, scrollbars, etc all flicker like I just applied a new skin.

Personally, I agree with the earlier post that said the ratings weren't really helpful, in as much as you have no way of knowing why a skin got the rating it did. WOM, no not at all. If your motor got one, somebody didn't know how to set a line properly. It wouldn't catch too much being that near the surface. I'd say they hopefully learned a lesson.

~it's a multi hook hand line?~ It's usually fixed on one end near the bank with the other end in deep water anchored a couple of feet off the bottom. Usually about 50 hooks baited with live bait, catalpa worms are good; so are goggle eye, at night. You run it the next morning and if the cats are feeding and some troller didn't hook your line and cut it, you load em up and you got fish for dinner.

I'm curious about the methods you use to skin. For example one thought would be to develop the whole idea for a skin using drawing or a graphics program from a preconceived thought or idea. Another method might be to start with a single graphic image and build on that. Yet another could be just open a basic skin and start messing around in your favorite graphics program till you get something that looks good.
