Ext2 Volume Manager Linux help please in Personal Computing JoeUser Forums

I want to access Android's file system on a USB stick using a Windows 7 PC. So I loaded Ext2 Volume Manager in Windows 7. It runs fine, but it still looks the same in Windows Explorer. Under Ext2's Help/About it says Ext2Fsd: NOT Started! Can someone tell me how to start it? Thank you for your help.
