You can actually use ModernMix to make the apps start in window on the desktop vs opening full screen. That way you can avoid going back to the ModernUI. You can avoid using the apps, but I think it's probably better if you just windowed them completely. Check this screenshot for an example: http://screencast.com/t/bpgxIuG4uKsr And check this one too http:/
Have you rebooted your machine? Did that fix the issue? If not, I'd like you to email us at, [email protected] so we can assist you further.
Could you, in the meantime, turn off Wobbly Windows and see if the dragged window displays properly?
Could you send us a screenshot of it grayed out? After checking my own, it appears to be working.
Please write in to [email protected] if you're having trouble and would like assistance.
Please try the following: I would like to have you navigate to the following directory and run the following files: 32bit: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\redist 64bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\redist - DXSETUP.exe -vcredist_2005sp1_x86.exe -vcredist_x86.exe Also please note that 1 file that is missing in Steam is normal.
I would suggest changing the name from Default.png to something else. Since the app uses Default.png for it's default icon, it will be overwritten when an update is installed.
I've created a ticket for you and you should receive emails about it shortly. I'd be happy to assist you further in the ticket.

I would go to AMD's website and look for the driver for your card. See if there is a more recent driver available. http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
