I posted this on steam just wanted to see what you guys think So you have your factory built and you have your engineers extracting and capturing. The next step for me (and I assume most) is to start building your army. I feel like army placement is where that fork happens do I send my first units to the front lines or are they going to be part of my flank team. However I think the addition of a few "defensive" units might help make that choice more meaningf

here is a gif of the video http://gfycat.com/ThatMixedDamselfly Basically the tool tip wont stay visible. This also occurs in game with all tool tips but only when i resize the UI. again i am on a 1600X900 monitor so that may be the issue.
I will later tonight once I'm home, but this might help. I was using a 1600X900 monitor with the UI scaled down to .8 or .9 and any and all tooltips would flash. Even the tool tip that shows that ascendancy wars is coming soon on the main menu
I really like the idea of the anti missile launcher. This could be the humans defense where the substrate could have the shields.
Stances would be a great afditon but at the very least I'd like to be able to tell my group which direction to face. I have needed up with brutes in the back and archers in the front.
I am not a fan of one player having a strategy that i can't effectively counter because of some decision I made pre match. I would hope that nothing could be built by one player that another cannot. Overall i think it might be effective in other games but I don't know that it fits here. This is all about the larger decisions made during the fight. Pre match descions that can win or lose the game seems cheap.
I would like to see base defenses improve a little. Id like to suggested defender units. These units would be built like a normal unit maybe from their own factory but would move faster than others but would take some time to deploy once they have arrived where they will be used. Would be kind if cool to roll up take over an area then bring the base defenses in. Just my humble suggestion but I would like to see defenses get some love.
1. Are they seeing widespread use? 2. What could be done to improve them? 3. Would something like the star base be useful. Slow moving very powerful but has movement restrictions
I apologize that I don't have video of this crash. This happened in 3 consecutive games. I was attempting to build a unit through a factory. When I clicked on the unit icon the factory icon from the engineer build menu would show in the factory build queue and the game would crash.
Ahh I must have missed that well I'm just glad its not an issue with my PC we just got back on speaking terms. Might be a good excuse to buy a new monitor thanks
@Qyth https://store.steampowered.com/account/ You can view your purchase history as well as codes activated. It shows lifetime for me in there
If in scale the UI down the tooltip flashes. If I set the res to 1600X900 then part of the UI is cropped out for now its OK because its just orbitals. Any idea for a fix?
Well I guess there is some problem with UI scaling
Am I missing something I am using version .60.13794 Edit: I had changed the UI scaling to 0.9 and that is what caused the tool tip to flash
How far are we away before we can all take a chance to input some ideas for the single player mode?
Latest Build 1. Tooltip would only stay visible for a second. I would have to move my mouse constantly to view them. 2. Voice for Logistics needed was nearly impossible to understand. There is another one I can't seem to understand either, it might be related to the victory points or held spots. 3. Research and Global abilities wouldn't pop up sometimes after the button was clicked. 4. Reseach
Planetary Annihilation: Right: A lot of things the units were fun the explosions looked awesome. The number of units were awesome. The base defenses were cool t1,t2,t3) Wrong: Undefendable artillery, once those were built you had to go kill it and while you are at it why nor kill the base. Ran like shit even on my nice rig. Only one faction. The orbital thing
See I thought that too but I can't seem to find anything on the single player galactic war mode, I have looked and I swear I check these forums everyday and right after I posted thatvi saw the victory points thread lol
Apologies I posted this in the bugs and ideas however with 0 views I don't know that its the most visible there 1. Single Player: I'm no competitive RTS player but I love comp stomp especially when its Co-Op vs AI. You need to look no further than the Act of aggression steam forums to see there are plenty of skirmish players that want to play the game the way they
13: for sure shows off the terrain advantage 4 and 7 : both show an awesome exchange 1: probably best to show that "yes you can build a base" 9: have to agree with the rest 9 is awesome

Restrictions hurt fun, however I know its your game and you have a vision for it but remember an option that can be toggled hurts no one. I'm referring to victory points specifically, some pe

Edit: moved suggestion to correct forum
Thank you!!! I pmed mine to you but if we need to post here can you list me as "Lino" Thanks again
Lol Timmy those are the same two I bought this year. (Well I guess three now) Both very underwhelming and today AoA just announced that they won't release a map editor. Apologies for being the odd man out and not answering all the questions, but really what this game needs is for each time I play to feel different. Sins is my all time favorite that game didn't need a single player campaign every time you play it was a different story. Except the story didn't need voice acting it w
