Peff, we werent talking about any one wall in particular (Or at least I wasnt)...Rather, we were observing the apparent decline of quality in the walls over a period of time... I think we've 'scared' away some of the good artists by letting the wall section be flooded with so many pathetic submissions. They look on this place as the n00b's wallpaper outlet, rather than the 'oh-so-hard-to-get-into-but-well-worth-it' library...If they submit, their work will be avaliable for but a short t

terragen is the thing that is below standards, A lot of it is, yes...even some of the stuff I already have up...If I made it now, I wouldnt submit it... However, some terragens are very high quality and deserve to be up, scenery or not. Look at Xerrarie's stuff...she does excellent work which deserves attention. Or look at Sailors' Deli

My thoughts echo SHC's... As I see it, it takes less talent...less skill...less work to get a submission in... Its not as admirible as it once was. I personally think it would be better if the standards were upped...While some people will be dissappointed when they see their submission was cut, that will give them incentive to try harder...and thereby increase the quality of their submissions...and the number of downloads from the hundreds to the thousands.
