Maybe people do play the same way I got over 2000 hours in Civ 5 with a very defined tech tree and what I research changes every game yes their is a usual flow but other than researching pottery first that is the only thing that stays exactly the same. Not knowing the tech tree is maddening you just guess and hope you get lucky. I will say it is A LOT better than it was. If there was a way to see a defined tech tree as an option it would be most appreciated.

The event from either saving the Xelori captain or receiving a Mimot Colony ship appears to not work if you select the Colony ship. In an earlier version it worked when you selected the colony ship the first time but the second time it appeared to not work. This time though it appears to have done nothing.

I just started my first game as the Mimot and after colonizing a few worlds I choose the first tier in Opportunity “Ambition” it did not change the cost of the leaders I had available. Does this only change the cost of future leaders or should the available leaders had a cost reduction?

Damn did I never notice that when you colonize it shows you the world you are colonizing in the bottom left hand corner. If it’s been there the entire time sorry about being dense. If you just added it thank you very much. Also if planet class could be snuck in there I’d being extremely grateful.

I think he is saying that when you pick a colonize and pick and event it would be EXTREMELY helpful to be able to see the stats of the world you are picking an event for. It’s in all caps because it should be. Every player may not have this issue but those of us who do it would be a HUGE quality of life increase. I don’t know how hard this would be to do I ain’t a coder or programmer I just know how IMMENSELY useful this would be for me. I also don&

Colony upgrades. Not sure how you make them though. Click on a non core world colony and there is a way to upgrade them but you may need to unlock some tech first although I remember having the option pretty early.

Because Epic got tired of steams 30% cut and became aware that most gamers would rather have their library in one place and not worry about things like that. Epic takes 12% from game developers and with early negative reviews on steam poisoning newcomers from idiots that don’t understand what an alpha is you’d have to be a real glutton for punishment to release on steam. Also maybe I’m just an epic defender I didn’t have epic until

I’ve had one like that and then I had one where I got it almost immediately. I’m not sure how I feel about core technologies being hard to acquire. In theory there system would lead more variance and be more exciting but maybe it should only be for non core technologies because being unable to research the steps to progress is very frustrating.

The fact that there is going to be a setting for this makes me incredibly happy. Thank you for listening to feedback. People who want a knife fight can be happy. People who don’t want the first 15 turns being trying to out rush the computer for the limited core worlds in their sector can be happy. People who want it to be random to have the game unexpectedly throw things at them can be happy. I haven’t played past 35 turns this update because I wasn’t down for how clos

Yes? And use them as feeders for their core worlds. It’s always a mad dash for colonies the only problem is in 3 your could make an exploration period by making a large map with a low AI count. 4 seems continue the exploration phase later into the game with the subspace streams but the early game is just crazy intense.

I have been enjoyed playing civ 5 with my buddies for years I never got them into three but I’d like to get them into 4. I really hope multiplayer is something that gets enough attention that it works. I am worried about one thing my friend lives in the middle of nowhere and good internet just isn’t an option he has to hotspot when we game. I don’t know how much data this game uses. He isn’t going to download the game on data just he has to play using data. We do this

I truly hope this is customizable. If people are allowed to establish what size sector they start in and how many opponents are in it you will make people very happy. Of course random would be an option as well. Be nice to able to select how many sectors there are of each size as well.

He does not have that trait but I will be more mindful of their traits when recruiting. Also I encountered a major problem the Onyx traded me all their planets for open borders which as traders just seems like a poor deal. Xeloxi did the same thing. Seems like they only place importance on their home worlds. We were only at cordial relations.

The Rescue Colony ship for Mormont Citizen or recover Xeloxi captain did not spawn a colony ship when selected that. Also a leader said it had 11 diligence and then when I brought him it changed too 9 not sure why.

Man my first game I was thinking like it was 3 and turned research pacing to very slow. Talk about a mistake. In sector conflicts seemed brutal and short though. I haven’t tried a war between sectors.

Game 4 found two players by turn 6 Game 5 lost a Col ship and Discovery by turn 6 found three AI by turn 25 Game 6 turned Galaxy to beginner (feels like a buster) also I don’t think this effects space monsters or precursors.
