Not sure. I was doing a full system scan with Malewarebytes. Wanted to look up something so I maximized Firefox and it froze until I paused the Malwarebytes scan.

Only 52 processes running in task manager. Your opinion Jafo. This time I would have to say you are wrong. Firefox is a great browser, and Malwarebytes is the standard for malware defense.

4 cores, almost 4 GB of memory and still Firefox locks up while I am running a Malewarebytes scan. What am I doing wrong? (Posting this from Chrome. Seems to be the only browser working well with WC from my computer. Would use Chrome all day if I could have a few custom Firefox ricks built in.)

Well at least one good thing will come of Microsoft ending support for XP. All those listings for those old Pentium 4 machines with XP will disappear from Craigslist.

No problem here after installing IE 10. I had to see how fast it was out of curiosity. Nearly as fast as Chrome on my machine, about the same as Firefox.

Well the buttons work in Chrome as well. Wonder why Firefox isn't working right even with Adblock disabled and removed.

OK I can see the edit, quote, and other buttons while using IE9. Been awhile since I have used IE. In Firefox the buttons disappear. Even with Adblock disabled the buttons still do not appear.

No thanks. IE isn't used but maybe once in a blue moon to access the net. I use Firefox. Why? Extensions. Customizable add-ons. Bookmarks are handled better.Rest of the house uses Chrome. I haven't seen the edit button since they did a forum upgrade a few days ago. The quote button is missing as well.

Jafo I am supporting the site. I'm here, I contribute. The site didn't help me get this computer other than being the place we all talked about what we were doing or going to do. The awesome friends I have here made this computer possible. We could have done this via email. And as I said before, I am sure I am not the only one that uses Adblock. It is a top ten extension. Ads are intrusive and annoying.
