Does it change the desktop background at that point? Or is it only in the weather portal that these changes occur?

It's so bloody clever....they know you....they have you...you are their lamb to the slaughter.... Sorry Jafo, I just gotta laugh Reminds me of the scene in 'Life o
It's definitely not the direction I thought computers would go when I first started playing with them, but what can you do? in peril of having Roos bounce across the scenery </
the point of it is that it takes care of those things I understand that, and I also realise it's early days yet but still... Antartica? In Sydney (Australia!) ? It'd be nice to be able to define a subset or pool of backgrounds that will get used. Also is there a way to reposition the weather portal or is it hard coded to top right corner
On of my colleagues just had to have it so it's now installed on his PC. What are the available features of this build? It seems a little limited right now, i.e no obvious options for customising the wallpaper etc. We're in Sydney Austalia and it's displaying a scene reminiscent of Antartica! Sure it's just out of winter here, but it's not that cold! (unless you're in Melbourne maybe <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/jokegrim.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absm
I need some things in the systray I don't know exactly what kind of thigs you use in your systray so I can only relate my experience. I have a OD+ systray and on the whole it works well. There are a few drawing issues with the network adapter icons. I have a built-in wireless NIC as well as the internal 100bT (on the laptop) and sometime

Re: your thread title, IMHO the only time advocacy can be 'honestly' (loosely speaking) seen as not marketing is when the advocate has no material gain in advocating the product. I feel for Brad because I genuinely believe he is inspired, thrilled, excited etc by the whole skinning (and productivity) thing. FWIW, I prefer the productivity side but that's just me P I can see how this is going to lead you into trouble Brad, because those people without knowledge of your history w
I switched it off That's something I never even thought to try. How much RAM do you have? How well does your system run? <A
It depends on things like: the amount of MB assigned to the virtual memory compared to your RAM, whether you lock it down (i.e don't let Windows manage it), which drive/partition you keep the swap file on, probably others that I've forgot to include Adjust & benchmark if you're really keen to get the utmost out of it! <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/inde
Rightclick 'My Computer', choose 'Properties', choose 'Advanced' tab, click 'Settings' in the 'Performance' panel, choose 'Advanced' tab (again), click 'Change' in Virtual Memory panel. Report back here with what it says. This is just the beginning... <img src="http://images.
Chris... that is one slow site. Took 10 minutes to load the main page, and I was sorry when it did finish..... this is professional website design?? Glad I wan't the only one who thought that way <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/in
Is it just me or does it take ages to load this site? Man, I'm talking >20min to load after clicking the 'picture edit' menu on a 64k ISDN link. I can see bitmap (bmp) files being sent... Makes the site quite unfriendly IMHO. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gi
It means to create a WinXP install disk that's already updated with SP2. So if you re-install windows from scratch it's at the latest service pack level. HTH
left click and hold? click where.. on the icons.. Yes. Be patient young padwan. The the younger you are, the more length of the delay approaches infinity... This is for OD+ 1.04 build 470. <A HREF="http

I can recommend RegHeal: http://www.fixregistry.com/index.htm Not free, but good value IME. Been using it on few systems now with no problems.

my system specs its a wildcat vp card Hmmm... had to look that one up! Looks like a kicka§§ card but maybe a little out of the mainstream since it's using a chipset by Creative/3DLabs (if I read it right?). Prolly not explicitly tested by Stardock? That's it for me... bump! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/no
