@a it locks up and hangs, sometimes it just hangs indefinitely, the taskmanager shows it still running and using processor and memory but it doesn't come out of the hang, other times I'm getting the "not responding" message.
I still get this on my laptop, what i do is immediately zoom out to where it switches to icons and never zoom in past that point A real pain i wish they would figure out
The next tech in line? You can only select one at a time. Did you read the part of my post about not being able to queue techs?
The carry over works on any tech in any branch not just those along the same path where it was accumulated so it has nothing to do with being able to queue techs
I started the game during beta.
Playing saves form prior releases is wrought with potential problems and is discouraged. No idea if this is what your seeing but i just did a quick test in my current game and it did not do that for me. pretty cool way to wipe them out quickly though [e digicons]XD[/e]

Well Paul said you could make a planet damn near invincible when people bitched commented [e digicons][/e] about how easy invasion was. Guess he was right. Did you try going all the up the invasion tree (e.g i see you do not have core detonation) . As long as you can eventually grind them down with either enough technolgy of troups i would not think this to be a bug. Just another challenge, if to

It appears to be very rare, only seen it twice (many games/planets & builds..). Playing as Yor both times and it was on their home world. No mods or race changes. My planet was fairly well established, had the research project running, finished researching a mfg tech, auto upgrade put all the buildings in my planet's build Q. Sounds OK, right? Problem is it put the new bldgs BELOW the research project [e digicons]8(|[/e] .&
