Raising Spell Mastery was easy. Very easy. Once you can enchant your gear just slap on 2 amethysts on each piece of equipment and you'll gain +4 (cloudy) x 11 x 2 = +88 spell mastery, or +10 (radiant) x 11 x 2= +220 spell mastery. I've successfully hypnotized dragons, but never the lieutenants. I wanted an epic god awesome demonic army.

Ok, I managed to figure out the crafting system and got the Lieutenant's resist chance down to 3% by stacking an ungodly amount of radiant amethysts. Turns out even at 3% resist they resist it, endlessly. So I think its clear the lieutenants are immune to hypnotism, so this sucks. Royally so since this was the biggest reason for me getting back to the game.
One of the major reasons I got back into this game was to charm all the lieutenants. Hypnotism is 130% resist chance against them. How do you deal with this?
So I've decided to give this game another try, was very hard since there is hardly any documentation online for it. I think I like the Priestess the most. Destiny's Vision is very good early game boost, her army upgrades are accessible at the start instead of requiring heavy investment into her tree (Guardian I am looking at YOU!), she can heal shards, and she can lower doomsday. But this "Destiny's Favor", the defining feature of her, what good is it? Seriously, what good is
All conjure elemental spells results in only 1 mana upkeep. You can have an army of 50 Fire Elementals and they still only take 1 mana upkeep. In addition, you can only have 1 Air and Ice Elemental. Additional castings does nothing and just wastes your mana. Only the Conjure Fire Elemental has a 5 turn cooldown.
Would have worked for The War for Anthys which is the original Legendary Heroes Scenario. The Fallen Enchantress Scenario was added at a later date and uses different units.
You're right! And it gave me my custom faction as well. I did not know FE scenario was the 2nd scenario. I'll play WFA first now.
Nope, it didn't work. It swapped out the Relias in custom games but not the scenario one. After digging around, I found the solution myself. In the FE scenario folder, there's a file called FECampaign_Units1.xml and the 1st entry was Relias. I just needed to copy and paste my custom sovereign's info into that file. I wonder if I can mod the faction to my custom faction as well. Time for more experimentation!
Yes I wish to rewrite Relias to play the scenario. No mods yet, I want to beat the game without mods for 1 play through, then I'm gonna mod it like crazy. But I guess this counts as a mod XD. So what you are saying is: 1. Create a sovereign for altar in-game 2. Open up that sovereign's .xml file and change the InternalName field to "Sovereign_Relias" And I'm finished? No need to swap a file or replace one?
A complete swap would be nice. I don't like how he looks, or his initial build, so could anyone tell me how I can swap him out for a sovereign of my own? If that's impossible then could I at least somehow change his initial build? edit: removed the stupid part of the question
