I DL the demo and it seems a great game for people who like this genre (indeed people who played Elite, Razgon, we must be of same age ;) ). But it is NOT a TBS game, which means for alot of gamers who absolutely don't want a game in which at least a (big) part of it is nothing more than Shoot Them Up, will not like it. I myself am terrible in these kind of games (already in the time of Elite). Anyway, everybody can draw up their own conclusions based upon the demo.

MOO3 was awaited worldwide by a hugh crowd of 4x game lovers. They announced a "worldwide" release on February 26, but oddly enough this didn't include the UK, this will be March 7, and therefore we in The Netherlands also have to wait untill then because the UK version will be released overhere. Well, while waiting alot of people visited the official MOO3 site and found the forums and started to look at that, and after the release found there were countless complaints (which don't put me off, b

Since we all know Software Piracy is the number 1 sports in the world (I just got my free copy of MOO3 through DONKEY), Galciv's approach is SUPER. No copy protection, just give paying people more and better stuff! I'm am a paying member of drengin, and I dl MOO3 only to verify if it is worth buying. This is how it should be, if you buy a coffee machine that doesn't work you bring it back. But unfortunatly this is not how it works with software, at least not here in Europe. Once you open the box

The Drengin.net package is SUPER, remember if you want to purchase Galciv through Galciv.com or alternatively Stardock, you can choose between only the game or Drengin. So it is a matter of awareness and/or logical reason to choose the right thing you want. I myself didn't hesitate to choose drengin, because it's clear what the difference is in $ and what you get. ;)

I think the major point is I have never seen a (4x) game developed for MP which also had a very good AI for those who want to play SP. As most of the guys above already stated I am also very happy Galciv is developed to give us a big SP challenge and most important we should be grateful for the decision to skip MP Mode if this meant the AI would be weakened.

Nice thought, but probably not possible. Waiting is terrible, tons of thousands of people waiting very, very long for MOO3, and lots of them seem very disappointed (we in Holland are still waiting for the game to arrive, scheduled as in the UK for March 7). Although apparently we have to wait some more weeks for Galciv Final, it seems not likely 4X lovers will be disappointed again. Disappointment is terrible, specially when you wait a long time for the game to be released, and the commercials t

KiloOhm, you probably DL version 2.3 of this game, they are now commercial. You, as I, were looking for an alternative whilst waiting for (in first instance) MOO3 release and now of course much more the final version of Galciv. Anyway, all three games have a completely different approach, so are not comparable in my point of view. If you buy Drengin, you also get Stellar Frontier, my first impression is this one is something like Freelancer. Anyway, good marketing approach, this Drengin.net, sev

The sign up is for one year, during this time you can DL everything that is and will be available. What you DL is yours forever, all the games are installed on your computer and there is no copy or "only valid for a certain time" protection. After a year you can renew per month or per year for a reduced fee.
