"Frog- You hace done an awesome job with this game. And I am very likely to buy the next game whatever it is from your company. Congrats yours is the best after-game release support I have ever seen. Two thumbs up.". He wrote some remarkable things about internet business and how to succeed with the business. Nice to read, but much more important, HE APPLIES his own sayings and this shows off in the support, improving the game and future games in dev (I would add etc here, so much thin

Galaxor, this is the absolute minimum info you can give us. We only know you played a small map. Apparently you have never finished a game yet, or it is not submitted to the metaverse. The situation you describe is so uncommon, that we would like to hear more details about this game.

"Q: Anyone know when SDC is going to be "finished" or are we there already?". I think this will never be "finished". It is a constant process of tweaking and upgrading (goes for both SDC AND Galciv,),making better what is already excellent. That is why we all love those guys soo much. Incredible support level, never seen if before. :CONGRAT:

" I have never gotten a pre-cursor event. I have seen some of the other races get it but I never have and I have played 15 games ". I think I played about 8 now, and I had two times the pre-cursor event myself. Mostly I include a luck bonus so perhaps you should try that in the next game.

Well, Impune, competition is good, I mean the challenge of becoming #1 and THAN staying #1. It would be nice if alot of European players join our empire, wouldn't it? But of course everybody has the right to choose, frotunately. I myself was a member of apolyton, basically because he also has a fantastic Galciv side, and I joined him before they became #1. Than Fist of John appeared and then you, and I finally decided to join the europeans because I live in Europe. ;)

" One question though, what is in the "Expansion Pack"? ". You can bet you will be surprised! :) Lots of things will be added, new ships, new techs, new political parties, new events. See also the sticky tread about what you would like to see in the expansion pack. Brad CS listen very well to the community. And, yes, the expansion pack will be free for all buyers of Galciv or Drengin.

I have never researched this so far. In small galaxies this tech is of not much use. But if you play large or hugh galaxies this could be of use, since you know eher to go for the best planets. And if you focus then on developing hyperdrive and colony ships, you might take advance of your knowledge.

" I think it is reasonable to target the 5th or 4th spot in the medium term ". Davide, don't be too modest, we target for at least rank #3 medium term. ;) Than we will hunt the # 2 and 1 down, unless they want to join the european alliance, of course (apolyton = greece) ;) :) Charles

" Haha, you "won" the "right" to host the zoo ? I don't think I'd call it that " Even worse, the other empires decided I was perfect to host it. >:( :) :D LOL . Anyway, I lost a couple of ships but the combined attach force of me and my allies (YES, they helped me!) rather quickly smashed them into filet. :CONGRAT:

1.03.54 is updated. Definitely get this one as it takes care of that weird economic bug. 1.03.54: Fixes: + Arceans were trying to hijack civilian trade ships to defend their colonies which resulted in eradic trade revenue. Trade ships are civilian controlled, governments (human or computer) are not allowed to control them. Fixed. + Crash bug with string parsing fixed (yearly update). 1.03.53: Tweaks: + AI trading for money tweaked a bit + Arcean AI

"To be fair several windows game compnaies release Linux versions of their recent games. Privately owned ID software is an obvious exmaple, NeverWinter Nights is also availible for linux". Yes, and? The basic question should be: WHY did you install Linux? As a hobby? Fine, but don't demand devs to publish the game in your "Hobby" environment. Linux is an alternative for windows, basically because windows was estimated rather unstable, to make it more like Apple's operating system, to av
