I don't have a problem with things the way they are why change? it works... there is always going to be someone with a complaint... but if they don't want to see the top downloads and stuff, they should just ignore it... it's not that hard...

is anyone else having trouble with alpha blending... all of the objects are fine... but when I turn icon x on... all of my existing object that are alpha blended get a black box around them.... has anyone else had this problem??? checked all of the setting tried disabling win200/xp trasperency... nothing... I did get the box to go away when I went to the objects and turned off per pixel alpha blending... and then I turned it back on... it was gone... but as soon as I restarted desktop x... it ca

the way I see it, go for it... edit the registry... I remember the first time I did some thing on my computer and I didn't know what I was doing... why can't you use the xp cd... I know I can boot with mine... and if you go to the recovery console... that is really the ms-dos prompt...

I unziped all of the icons and pics to a sub-directory of icon dock called crystalized, that's where all of the default icons were, as for back grounds well, i think you should put them in the drectory marked backgrounds....
