sorry to bother you guys... but at Virtualplastic.net I just found a new app that emulates the mac os dock... perfecty... alpha blending... and even the zoom effects... it's real interesting... not the lite step one... the one further down on the main page... called moby dock... yeah.. i have the same problem... it got me for like a year... ha ha ha... just right click on the download link and select save target as.... then just go to window blinds... or if you are running windows xp.... go to desktop properties.. then select add new skin... and apply it....

I couldn't play solitaire... it would give me and error every time I tried to maximize it or move it... but that's it... I had the same problem last week..... wrote the same thread... I don't know why the heck it does that, but it stopped after a while.... I couldn't understand it...
how full are they though... I've heard that once you pass 25% of a drives capacity is slows down... maybe if you transfer the data, you will trasfer the slow speed too... hmmmm

there is a setting under the advanced section of the windowblinds... where it always uses one specific taskbar no matter what skin you use...click properties on you desktop.. then the apperence tab on the top, after that select the advanced button, just under the windowblinds and effects buttons... on the top right of the window that pops up... it gives you the option I speak of... make sure it is disabled... I hope that settles your prob... if not... I suggest uninstalling window blinds... chec

I think you probably could use your IP files with that program... mostly because they are standard format... the file you download is really a zip with a bunch of .ico files and .icl files... which are very common...

I don't know if any one mentioned this, but I think there needs to be some way to re-color the part that used to be refered to as the web in windows xp. I am not a skinner... or much of an expert... but I always have those same problems when I use win styles... If I were you... I would make sure that win styles is set to use your current settings.... and manually install the different themes you want from each section of wincustomize... you can find some awesome os x window blinds skins... there is one call... squa by vlad which is my fav osx skin... doesn't match osx completely but i like it... and under desktop there are plenty of themes you c

I just wanted to add... that if you go to the object bar section you'll find object bar skins to match some of the xp compatible skins to create the xp start menu under other systems as well....

I like Lunar Base it's a pretty light weight skin... and it is physiclly small too maybe try that one... I think it's by treetog... it's one of my favorites...
